I bought the specifically for the light. For some reason, I thought it was going to illuminate the dirt so I wouldn’t have to vacuum everywhere on the hardwood floor just in the areas that need it. The light sucks so don’t buy it for that. However, the actual head is great. It is slightly elevated, which means you can really pick up a larger items that you couldn’t pick up with the original Head. Also a bonus it has wheels and it makes using it a lot more efficient. So while the light is not something I would purchase this for the actual head is great. I would note that this head is slightly smaller than the original and might bother some people.

This vacuum head attachment is a fantastic addition to my Dyson, especially for hard floors. It picks up dirt and debris effortlessly, and the green LED headlights are a nice plus. The lights illuminate every bit of dust, so I can see what I’m cleaning even in dimly lit areas, ensuring I don’t miss a thing.It fits perfectly on my Dyson and was easy to install with the quick-release system. It glides smoothly over my hardwood and tile floors, making the cleaning process so much faster and more efficient. The roller brush is gentle on the floors but still powerful enough to pick up pet hair and dust without leaving scratches.While this attachment excels on hard surfaces, it’s not quite as effective on carpets. It works decently on low-pile rugs but struggles a bit with anything thicker. But since I bought it specifically for my hardwood floors, I’m more than happy with its performance.Overall, if you have hardwood or tile floors, this vacuum head is a must-have! It’s made cleaning a breeze, and the LED lights are a great feature for thorough cleaning. Just keep in mind that it’s designed primarily for hard floors, not carpets.

I am so glad I picked this! It looks like the Dyson head that I gunked up then lost, then found. The green light is just as accurate as the Dyson one. I love and hate that light at the same time. It shows every speck of dust and also pointed out several cobwebs. It snapped in and fit just fine haven't had any issues with it. Have used it for about 2 months and honestly can't tell the difference. I still have to remove some hair from the wheels now and then but other than that it works like the original. I'm glad I ordered this. I was expecting it to be lightweight and flimsy but I was pleasantly surprised.

I will NEVER use my Dyson V10 on my floors or carpeted surfaces again without this attachment from JYLvpart! I am serious. The V10 (Absolute OR Animal, this attachment fits both) is an excellent vacuum, however, this floor attachment with green LED lighting, takes it to a whole new level. First of all, in terms of agility, this attachment feels smoother and does seem to fit into more spaces than the comparable "native" Dyson attachment. Now, for the lights. WOW! Let me just say here, in case you may be skeptical, as I WAS, about the "need" for the lights, they are NOT a gimmick. In fact, once you overcome the horror of using this attachment for the first time, and by that, I mean seeing all of the dirt that's been left behind from previous vacuuming, you will love those little green LED lights! They "see" everything which, ultimately, saves time because you can now see what needs vacuuming and where. Finally, and I hadn't thought of this before using it, I end up using less power than before because I can see that I do NOT need to use the "High-Speed" or "Boost" settings (you know, those speeds that actually suck the charge right from your battery!) as much as before I had this attachment and I can actually finsh vacuuming BEFORE I run out of battery! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this attachment to anyone that's serious about cleaning and who owns any of the compatible Dyson models listed in the product description. FIVE STARS!

Returning....not worth harming my Dyson and suction not as good....light is great though!

At the price you pay, these make great replacements or optional heads. I now have several for my V8, and use them for different purposes. Maybe use one in the dirty garage and a different one in the house. This particular model easily outperforms the stock power head for getting things like cat litter up. The stock unit will get it but it takes a couple of passes. The V-shape of the brushes in this head seem to do a better job of getting dirt to the center for pickup.This unit looks like it belongs on your vacuum. The colors match. The unit is sturdy and solid. It fits and functions like it should. The brush is easy to remove for cleaning. If anything, it is quieter than the stock unit. It is also lower than the factory unit and will fit more places.My feelings are a bit mixed about the lights. They are bright and do a good job of making dirt stand out but there is just something about the color that I find weird. Especially in a darkened room. Anyway, WAY better than no lights. The swivel also seems a bit stiff. May need some break-in time or it may just be because it works different from stock and I’m not used to it.
