The bags are very good quality but they mesh is to large for the carbon medium.

These are good bag. I used them for ceramic balls for the extra boost in good bacteria. The filter filters through well and they are easy to rinse. They’re a bit large, maybe too big for a pico or small nano but perfect for a regular sized tank 20g and over if you have a large enough back compartment.

These little bags are made great. The zipper is strong. Value for the money was good.

I use these for the biomax layer on my HOB filter and they work great, they are long lasting (im only on my second one) and they are reusable which is great.

I tried to use it for Purigen powder media and it made a bit of a mess but for more solid media, it will do great. I can recommend this just be careful what media you place in it.

Everything about these are great, and as described as well. Zippers all work. 5 black, 5 white bags. The mesh is not what I expected to be, it's not a fine mesh, so I would not put anything small in them. But I would recommend these for the carbon ceramic rings or balls. The size is true, they worked great in my canister filters, easy to wash out, without having to take out, price is good for what they are.

These aquarium media bags are well made and the zipper is a huge plus. The holes are rather large so only ceramic rings, porous stones, or larger media could be used effectively. Purigen or small activated carbon would leak out. Unfortunately for me they are just too big for any of my nano tanks, but for a outside canister setup or a large aquarium these would be ideal.
