This is a very nice, heavy duty 10-pocket bag. Leather is thick and sturdy. Stitching seems to be good on mine. Plenty of room for all the tools/accessories I need for getting work done. Plenty of pockets for a couple of different types of fasteners, tape, utility knife, pencil, torpedo level, chalk line, t-bevel, catspaw, speed square, multitool, chisel, etc.... I mainly build decks and do handyman stuff and I've found that a good 10-pocket rig is all I need for 99% of the jobs I do.I don't use the hammer loop on the pouch although it can come in handy at times when I need a place to temporarily hold a pry bar or an extra hammer when doing demo. I keep my main hammer in a dedicated hammer loop on my right side which helps to even out the felt load on my hips when keeping a 20+oz. hammer and/or impact driver on my right side depending on what I'm doing at the time. I really like the tape clip on this pouch as it frees up space for other stuff that I may need to keep in the pouches and is well placed for easy access when worn on the left side of my belt. It holds my 25 ft. Stanley Fat Max tape fairly securely and keeps it ready at hand, but you do have to watch, if you're climbing down through rafters, or sitting on the edge of a structure, that it doesn't come unclipped.It's heavier (and more expensive) than the similarly made, but much less durable, suede 10-pocket bag, also made by CLC, that I bought at Tractor Supply but it's worth the slight increase in weight (and cost) for me as someone who wears a tool belt daily for several months a year. I expect that it should last a good long while as I mainly do landscaping and lawn care and do the handyman/carpentry stuff on the side. I've been wearing it with an el-cheapo Harbor Freight leather tool belt which works just fine worn over multiple layers of clothing in cooler weather, but I may grab the CLC padded nylon belt to give my hips a little extra padding in warmer weather when I'm not wearing multiple layers of clothing.At around $50.00 I feel as though it's a pretty good value, in today's economy, given that it's getting more and more difficult to find durable, well-made leather tool/nail bags in big box stores these days.

I’m a commercial and residential electrician and I got sick of seemingly sturdy nylon bags falling apart within 6 months of use. I have worked with many electricians that had leather tool pouches that they had for years or sometimes even decades so I decided to upgrade. My intent for this bag was to use it as a secondary bag for material and a few tools that don’t fit in my smaller leather tool pouch I also ordered. This one arrived so fast that my tool pouch hasn’t arrived yet but this one works great for carrying my tools as well. This leather bag seems to be of sturdy construction with quality leather. I am very pleased with my order and the item I received. Will update my review if it ends up proving to not hold up, but otherwise if I haven’t updated my review you can assume it’s still holding up well. I highly recommend this bag!

This is my second one in five years very good leather very strong it’s lasted this long. And for a tool pouch to last me five years, I got my moneys worth in some.

I bought this for my husband to help build our gazebo. He loved it. Just make sure you have a heavy belt to carry it on.

This is a pretty stout tool pouch. The only issue I see so far is the quality control. I would otherwise give it 5 stars. So far, I have had issues with rivets not being placed properly, creating possible spots for leather coming apart. The second one I received looked better, but had an erroneous cut on the inside making the leather so thin it nearly has a hole. It has to be returned. Perhaps third time's a charm. Im going to keep returning until I get a decent one because the leather is pretty thick and stiff and it's going to make a fine product that will last for years.If you get a good one, it looks to be really well made and its going to hold up well.
