Lush Lip Tinted Oil

This sheer lip gloss in Dusty Rose (a deep pink mauve) looks lovely on my dark complexion. It wouldn’t look good on someone with a deep complexion, however, which is what ebony brown looks like. It doesn’t feel sticky when applied. It’s very moisturizing and hydrating. It doesn’t have any plumping effect. It has a subtle scent of mint. It doesn’t have flavor. For approximately $12.00, this is an excellent value for the money.

I tried “Desert Poppy” and it’s a perfect, natural looking shade for me. I shared a before and after pic so you can see the difference between my natural lip vs the Lip Oil. It leaves my lips with a plump, juicy, shine. I love the texture and the application is smooth and evens out nicely. It has a light minty fragrance but I had to sniff the bottle to notice. I usually wear all-day lip paint, as I am constantly eating and drinking, but I wanted to try something else that is easy to remove. Needless to say, it doesn’t last long during activities, so it needs reapplication, but I love that I can wipe it off with a tissue or wet cloth and it’s gone, without the need for extra cleansers. (I tried the “dewy iris” color as well, but it looked more brown on me than deep wine, so will be returning. With that, it probably looks gorgeous on darker skin tones.) Overall, I really enjoy using this product and would definitely like to try more colors.

Wow! My favorite lip oil to date! I love that the Well People brand is a clean, nontoxic brand. I’ve been on the hunt for a clean makeup routine, and this lip oil is my new daily go to! The color is perfect, the formula is hydrating and smooth, and the peppermint smell is delightful! The applicator is soft and easy to use. It’s a great price for the amount of product that you get. Perfect for travel or everyday! Will buy again!

This lip oil is pretty fantastic. It doesn't feel sticky at all, and it's very pigmented. I will say that if eating and drinking, it doesn't last very long. I also do not like the plastic packaging— it just feels very cheap/flimsy. But it's a great non toxic alternative to more mainstream brands. Keep in mind that it has a very subtle minty-ness/ smell that doesn't linger very long.

I cannot believe how much I love this lip oil. It's NOT sticky!! It applies smoothly, has great shine to it, moisturizes like a lip balm, BEAUTIFUL color, great taste and smell, good amount of product, easy application, and the stain last even after the sheen has worn off. I will definitely be buying this again!

This is a clean beauty scam. I bought this after finding it on the EWG website as "certified" but it contains several lake colors and titanium dioxide, which were hidden on their website. It's not "may contain" those ingredients either as this listing claims, they absolutely do contain them. I scanned the barcode on Yuka and it gave it a score of 36/100, I've included screenshots. I had to peel back the vendor's barcode in order to even see them. Also the formula isn't even good, this was sold to me as an oil based lip tint but it's more of a sticky gloss that doesn't last at all and barely has any color to it. They also market it as "shea butter" but shea isn't even the main ingredient either. This "tint" is castor oil based, which explain both why it's so sticky and why it comes off so easily. There's better stuff out there both formula wise and in terms of actual transparency on ingredients. Don't waste your money.

It's a very pretty color, but too shiny for me, rather sticky feeling. That's probably what people are going for, but it's not my thing. I wish it was more of a lip stain, that color is gorgeous.
