Good for what they say they do, don't expect top-quality but it's not sub-standard either.
Before I start - bear in mind these sunglasses were £12.95. Now whilst there is no excuse for poor quality whatever the price, if you are going to compare them with real Ray-Bans, or Oakley's you are going to be slightly disappointed - but you are also going to be able to buy 10 pairs of these for the price of one pair of RB's/O's so keep it in context!Overall they look ok when on, and they are comfortable. They are made of what appears to be relatively cheap materials, but the 'brushed-finish' feel of the plastic make them more comfortable than one might expect. In terms of quality control, well not a huge amount of effort has gone into checking quality but they look ok, they are quite light in weight and come in a reasonable case. The markings on the inner left arm say AE0022 55 square 20-135 +1.00 which mean 55mm lens length a bridge of 20mm and a temple of 135mm with a bifocal lower image of +1.00 reading strength.in terms of the bi-focal element - it has to be said it has been cheaply added, and is not on the full width of the bottom edge of the frame, more the inner 2/3rds - however this is where you tend to look when you are looking at something close up so it actually does work! The 'join' of the bifocal is not gradual so there is a definite cut-off line which can be a bit distracting to start with, but you do get used to it. I bought my pair as a cheap 'don't care too much if they get broken' pair of glasses for when I go ashore from sailing to be able to sit and read a food or beer menu whilst wearing sunglasses and they work well for that. To be honest at this price, I think they do the job as described.
