Thanks to certain family members staining all my cheaper cups I’ve been on the lookout for a good quality ceramic one and this has ticked all the boxes that I’ve been after.The ceramic feels and looks very good quality and although it doesn’t insulate the liquid any better than standard cups, I find it much more enjoyable to drink from. I really like the colours it comes with and they grey version I chose looks perfect in a modern room.At 600ml’s it is just about the right size for me to enjoy a good drink, without it being too big to finish in time before it gets too cold. I’m also very happy that it is safe to use in the freeze, oven, dishwasher and microwave should I even need to use them (but it's so nice I wash it by hand just to be sure).As for value, considering the quality of the mug and saucer even at RRP I believe it is good value, but if you can find a promotion anything like the current one it becomes excellent value and an easy recommendation from me. Deserved 5-stars and will be my new personal drinking set for the foreseeable future.

I like a big cup and saucer for cappuccino or camomile tea, but this is the biggest cup I’ve ever had! The saucer is the size of a tea plate!I ordered the yellow colour and it’s a lovely pale shade. It’s a beautiful well-made cup and saucer set in a smooth, slightly glossy ceramic.Something I hadn’t expected was the large dimpled design on the outside of the cup and on the saucer. It’s not immediately obvious at a glance, but I can feel the dimples when I pick up the cup. It adds an attractive and unique style to the set.It’s quite heavy as a cup and saucer set, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with grip problems. Other than that, it’s a good quality and stylish set, that I’d recommend for anyone who likes a big cup and saucer.

If you like a big cup of tea or coffee then you won't be disappointed with this.It is a very big cup. It holds about 600ml (which is just over a pint).It is also a fairly heavy cup. In France they use cups this size for a morning cup of coffee.It's also wide at the rim and is difficult to walk around with without the tea sloshing around and over the edge, especially when going upstairs.Sat at on a flat surface, like a table or desk, is the best place for it.I normally make a pot and have a cup or two at any one time, this almost makes a pot redundant.It comes in four pastel colours and is very sturdy.Excuse me while I go and make a cappuccino in it.
