Fixing neglect.
I've had a couple of rough months with my health, between injury and illness, I've been neglecting the heck out of my skin. I've been feeling like I've aged years in the span of two months. I picked this up in the Cica formulation as I have sensitive redness prone skin, and while I think Vitamin might have been a better blend given the circumstances, the Cica masks have been so lovely while still being beneficial. My skin had been super angry, inflamed (everything has been inflamed) and this has really helped calm down the patchiness and incredibly unwanted capillary action. These haven't at all irritated my skin, haven't made me break out, seems like it's helping to heal up some marks and irritation I accrued. It's super hydrating, really helps replenish my skin around my fine lines and make them look less pronounced. My skin really seems to love niacinamide, so counting myself fortunate here. I love pairing this with panthenol products to kind of lock in the moisture before extra barrier balm. The masks themselves are super comfy, tencil so strong while being soft and non-irritating, the pouches have a really generous amount of essence. I really enjoy these and they came at such a perfect time.

Affordable, lightly fragranced, hydrating, but not special
This collagen mask has a whopping 0.018% of collagen extract. In case you wondered, yes, I'm being a tad sarcastic! It possibly could have some additional collagen from the nest extract (more on that in a minute), but we know from the ingredients list that these masks likely contain a very small amount of that as well. It's becoming a pet peeve of mine as I investigate more beauty products that they often have very little of what the product is named for.Collagen is of limited benefit for skin anyway, mostly providing moisturizing properties versus anything magical, and this mask is moisturizing, although we can assume most of the moisturizing properties come from the first handful of ingredients which all will help with skin moisture, but they are also common, affordable ingredients.I used this mask on a day after traveling since I am always a bit more dehydrated after flying. I fortunately didn't experience a skin reaction like some people did despite the fact I do have rather sensitive skin (I had some minor flushing which I sometimes get from niacinamide, but I get that a lot and it goes away quickly). I found it to be hydrating as expected. As is common with a lot of masks, it left my skin a tad sticky, but the trick to that is to then gently pat on some watery toner or a hydrosol over your face to help the mask serum sink in faster. This works for me the vast majority of the time, and indeed it worked for this mask serum. This serum has one ingredient that interested me a lot since I was unfamiliar with it. Low down in the ingredients list you'll notice "Swiftlet Nest Extract." It is actually made from birds' nests! Don't worry, it's cleaned and not icky by the time it makes it into products, and birds are not harmed. There was a very small study which showed some improvement when ingesting nest extract, but there is little to suggest that topical application is beneficial, although it probably provides some nutrients good for skin. It's so low down in the ingredients list that I doubt there is enough to add enough nutrients to make a difference. Swiftlet nest extract is apparently quite expensive, which also leads one to believe there is little in these masks since they are affordable. One reviewer who reviewed the same version of the masks I had said these were not fragranced. That is incorrect. These are indeed fragranced, and fragrance is the last ingredient. It is fortunately fairly light, and I was able to tolerate it, but I also could smell it on my hands, where I patted some of the excess serum, for at least a couple of hours. It was a faint scent, and I am sure that many would not be capable of detecting it, but sensitive noses will.In the end, these are more affordably priced than most Korean beauty masks, although they ought to be since the formulation consists of common, affordable ingredients. They still can serve a purpose for those who want some basic hydration, though.SInce several reviews report a reaction (and there is the catch-all fragrance ingredient), you can spot test masks by opening and pouring a small amount of serum out. I usually test under my ear since my hands are much tougher than my facial skin.Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Glycereth-26, Niacinamide, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, Trehalose, Polysorbate 80, 1.2-Hexanediol, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Allantoin, Triethanolamine, Adenosine, Collagen Extract(180ppm), Swiftlet Nest Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Fragrance

Infused with moisture 💦
I have become a bigger fan of K Beauty sheet masks than I used to be and these Hyaluronic Acid masks by Lamelin are part of the reason why. Not only are these infused and dripping with moisture they infused my skin with glorious hydrating moisture as well. My dry skin sensitive skin was rejoicing in these little gemsI found these sheet masks absolutely delightful in every way, from the nice fit that I didn't have to keep adjusting, to the barely there fragrance that caused me no irritation, to the cherry on top of how soft and moisturized they left my skin. Dewy, glowy, bouncy, radiant baby skinThese masks are swimming in essence but I always lightly squeeze a bit of the essence off of sheet masks before I put them on my face simply because the skin can only absorb so much product. I left mine on for 20 minutes and used the extra essence on my neck, decollete, shoulders, and hands. Upon removal of the mask I start to gently rub and tap the product in and let it dry down completely before proceeding with the rest of my skin care routineI often post pics wearing sheet masks im reviewing so that potential buyers can see how they look on a real person. These masks fit well, stay in place, and do not start losing their grip sliding all over the place as some lesser quality ones can do. Yes, I recommend these, especially to those of us who share the dilemma of dry skin, but they are good for normal to combo skin as well because they contain some really great ingredients like Cucumber and White Birch Extract that are good for all skin types. You get 10 of these masks at a good price point. A win for allALWAYS do a patch test 24 hours before using any new skin care products

Skin feels soft and refreshed
These are full of the serum so you can be assured that the mask will be wet on the skin. It felt very refreshing while I was wearing it and my skin felt soft after I removed it. It didn't cause any irritation or redness.

Felt Great - Cica Mask
This was my first time using a packaged mask and it was a good experience. It was very refreshing feeling and I have had no unpleasant reactions. My face afterwards felt nice and clean without the dryness feeling. My skin type is oily and sensitive and normally things do not work so well on my skintype. The mask spread easily and fit well on both me and my sister.I have a very strong sense of smell and this mask's fragrance was not as overpowering as I had thought it would be. The mask was very moisturizing but on my hands it felt a bit sticky - but face did not feel this way. Good product, I would probably try ordering the other variants after this positive experience.
