A real champ for speed and especially range: great product
This replaced earlier UniFi outdoor WAP: it is hardwired mounted outdoors on a pole….. the U7 is FAST and has amazing range: a champion performer indeed. And it allowed me to adjust the antenna pattern to180 degrees: a very helpful feature.I am not as happy with the mounting bracket design: the older UniFi outdoor WAP had a much nicer metal bracket.But overall this is very highly recommended,

Great for Outdoor signal boosts!
Our home backs up to a pond. With this pointing out over the area, wifi signal is nice and strong almost everywhere we roam!

Great outdoor antenna
Excellent connection in a crowded rf environment even at 750ft using 5Ghz. Very impressed and well worth the money, Simple and straightforward to set up using the app you dont even need any other unifi equipment or an account. The included hose clamps arent the best thing ever, but they get the job done.

Amazing range
The range on this thing is ridiculous. It goes through brick walls 60ft away like they were not even there. The app works really well and you can have multiple SSIDs.

Strong signal
This unit is transmitting through a wall to a guest house that is 80 feet from the main house. Inside the guest house the client is getting good signal and fast connections. I'm impressed with the quality and penetration this WiFi access point is achieving.

Does not come with any form of power supply/PoE+ injector.
I received this item yesterday and was immediately met with a surprise I hadn't considered. I have purchased other Ubiquiti products/AP's in the past, and every one of them have come with their own power supply / PoE Injector. This item does not have any form of power supply with it. Its important to note that it is a PoE+ instead of PoE, and on top of that, to get the maximum bandwidth, as it boasts 2.5Gb uplink, you'll need to make sure that if you do get a PoE+ injector, that its rated at the 2.5Gb instead of just gigabit. Adoption into my network was a breeze though. If you're unfamiliar with these AP's, you'll want to ensure you have the proper settings for your intended use, it defaults to using the directional signal, so if you intend to use the antenna's, youll have to change that. I havent had the opportunity to verify the range on it yet, but I saw others had stated it has great range, so I am hoping to see similar results.
