Installation of this fan was fairly standard compared to other fans these days. It took me around an hour, and I had install a new ceiling mount during that time too. I like the electrical connections as well. Instead of using wire nuts like most fans I've seen, it has a bespoke terminal where you screw the wires into. It's great for easy safe installation. In my case, the pre-installed fan wires were actually pushed all the way through and were impacting the spot where I was supposed to install my house wiring. I simply backed out their wires and I could install mine easily.The fans operation is also very nice. It's extremely quiet. I think it's actually quieter than the bed-side fan I have that is marketed as a "silent" fan. I can't hear this ceiling fan until I get it up to about level 3 speed! As for the speeds, there are 6 speeds and they push a surprising amount of air. For a nice calm breeze, speed 1 is great. Pushing it up all the way to level 6 gives a very strong gust of wind. I'm surprised for such a small fan that it's this powerful. Additionally, my unit doesn't have any wobble whatsoever, even at high speeds. Fan balancing stickers are included, but I didn't need to use them.Finally, one feature I will mention that will make/break for some people. The fan doesn't stick to the last setting when you turn off the wall switch. It will remember your color temperature setting (yellow vs blue light), but it won't remember fan on/off. If you turn off the wall switch, and turn it back on, it will always turn on the light with no fan. In some ways this is great, and other times not. Pro: you'll never have to fumble around with the remote trying to find the light button in a dark room. Con: if someone is sleeping in the room, you can't just turn on the wall switch and have the fan come on. The light will always come on.

Below is my original review. I contacted the seller with my problem. They responded within 12 hours with suggestions. I followed their suggestions, I redid the electrical connections but it made no difference. I reported this back to them. They immediately offered to replace the fan at no cost to me. I had gone on vacation so for a week I did not respond to them. In a very nice, professional manner I continued to receive emails wanting to know how it was going and offering to replace the fan. In their instruction manual I found a procedure to reset the controller. I don’t know for sure if it resets the controller in the fan or the remote controller used to control the fan. This process does make the fan work but it was not a permanent solution for me. At this point I think I just got a buggy controller, it’s human made so stuff happens. I have upgraded my review because of their customer service. I have no doubt that you can order from this company and be satisfied with your purchase. My fan works well when I get it going. Their desire to have a happy customer is non-stop. Because I got the product through the vine program I don’t expect them to replace it but thank you for restoring my faith that there are companies that believe in customer service.A ceiling fan is one of those things that you can’t really verify it is good until it is installed. After installing my fan I found that it will not work in downward air flow mode. Light works and the fan works in reverse, upward air flow. I tried to turn the fan on and the fan will attempt to start in normal mode, barely moves the blades and then stops. Quality control should have prevented this fan from ever leaving the factory. Very upset I now have to take down the defective fan.

The good: Great remote with indicators of how high the lights and fan speed is. Very bright light, with 3 color temperatures. Fan spins both ways.The OK: Fan blades are small and thus don’t move a ton of air.Summary: Great light(5 stars), OK fan(4 stars). Great value.

This ceiling fan is going to work out for anyone that needs something that's both affordable, but also as functional as more expensive ones. It has sort of a minimalist look to it, which is perfectly fine. But the important thing to note are the variety of features it has.The main feature that makes it stand out from the cheaper ceiling fans is that you have different types of lighting available. Whereas older, traditional ceiling fans just have one type of lighting (on or off), this one has various "temperatures" of lighting. Which means you can adjust the light so that it's a "cold" white light. Or a soft warm light, which is the more "golden" look. This really allows you to change the vibe and ambiance of a room, based on what the room is used for, or the mood you're trying to create in it.The other notable feature is that it can circulate air throughout the room in two ways. If it's summer time and hot, you can run the ceiling fan as you normally would, and it cools things off. But if it's winter time, you can switch up the directional flow of the ceiling fan. And that pushes warmer air throughout the room. Which means to you that the traditional old-school ceiling fans that never get used in the winter, you can forget about those and use this one year-round.Low-priced fan, but for what you're going to pay for it, it's decent. You shouldn't have much trouble in having it installed if you've ever had to replace a ceiling fan before. Good features, nice appearance, and all at a price that's a bit easier on your bank account than most ceiling fans in this style.
