Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call - Nintendo 3DS

This game is an amazing amount of fun, especially if you like Elite Beat Agents or Dance Dance Revolution. The music of Final Fantasy is given a chance to shine here, and most of it is extremely enjoyable.Gameplay: I am most comfortable on the Basic difficulty level. I got some exposure to harder difficulty in the Quest Medley mode. That helped me to refine my timing, but the overall experience on the harder difficulties is much more stressful. Basic is the best way to just enjoy the music and tap and slide along to it at a comfortable pace.There are so many characters, items, and RPG elements included in the game, but I am not sure what most of them do. There is so much to do just in playing all the songs and modes that I have not hit bottom yet of all the options. It is fun to unlock the trophies in this game. Some will just happen naturally, while others you can figure out from the hints on the trophy records page.This game is a love letter to Final Fantasy and its music, and it is one of the 20 best 3DS games.

This is such a cute little game. I have been wanting to play this for years but since I opted for a Vita instead of a DS I had never been able to do so. I finally broke down and bought a DS and this was one of my first picks. The game is so much fun and has all of my favorites from so many Final Fantasy games. There's different modes and characters. They also had music from Crisis Core which is my most favorite Final Fantasy game. This is a great game to play just to put your mind at ease or when you just have lots of time on your hands. I love rhythm games and this is one of my favorites.

The product itself came in perfect condition and I was thrilled to see how nice it was kept. As for the gameplay, it's very fun and filled with tons of songs from my favorite games that make me feel nostalgic. The wide selection and exciting levels will keep me busy for a while.

I never played the original Theatrhythm, but now I'm glad I waited for this updated edition! I've always enjoyed rhythm games, and I adore the Final Fantasy series, so this was an absolute must-have when I finally got a 3DS! The hardest part is deciding on a four-character team, because I love so many characters! Totally love the Final Fantasy music, though some songs are watered down versions of the originals. There are a few different modes, so you can play whatever song you like just for fun, or go into quest mode to "beat the boss", no matter what, the more you play the more you earn (characters/songs/etc).My only qualm isn't with the game itself, but with the optional DLC, which I probably won't get anytime soon, because you have to pay for each song individually. Hopefully they'll have a bundle at some point, because I would love to play some Chrono Trigger songs!

Fun game, and for a low price. I'm disappointed they still have dlc and that it costs $1 per song, but there's enough songs in this game to keep you entertained for hundreds of hours if you want. The story is a little silly and the leveling up/skill/item systems are mostly just added-on and don't impact the game much, but the main rhythm game itself is awesome, and FF has always had an amazing soundtrack. One thing I regret doing is not getting the limited version, which I believe comes with the soundtrack, but oh well.

This rhythm game utilizes the songs of Final Fantasy. Fun and beautiful music to listen to, coupled with gameplay that allows for repeated attempts at songs, merged with a bountiful number of characters who have unique attributes allow for a surprisingly deep game. But the bottom line, it's fun.

I bought the original game and had lots of fun with it, but once I saw that Curtain Call came out, I decided I needed all these new songs, and was not disappointed at all. I've also bought tons of DLC songs of some of my favorite games like Chrono Trigger, NieR and even Xenogears (I did get teary eyed when I noticed Soaring was there). There are different playing modes, even online versus and lots of unlockable content, so you won't really get bored at all, specially with a catalog that has more than 200 songs.The price for DLC songs is very affordable, and worth it, in my opinion ($0.99); there are also some DLC characters as well.So if you love music and rhythm games, the Final Fantasy series and even other Square Enix titles, this is the game for you. It's been 2 years and a half since the first game come out, and I still play Theatrhythm casually to this day.

Fun game. An improvement on its predecessor. Lots of the most recognizeable tunes from the final fantasy franchise. If you like rhythm games and have a 3DS, this is definitely worth having in your collection.

I love the game, but couldn't play it, ordered it from Amazon Australia assuming I could play it on my 3ds but instead they didn't have it in stock and went to US Amazon and gave me one that was region locked....

Was exactly what I wanted. I love this game so I'm happy to have it
