I purchased this lamp shade for my son's room who is moving from his nursery into his big boy room. As this has been supplied from a Small friendly business I thought I would give an in-depth review.Out the package/Piecing together:The shade portion of the lamp I found a bit fiddly to piece together. I spent around 15 minutes trying to slot the plastic tabs on one side of the plastic sheet through the slits on the other end of the plastic sheet. Quite often I would get three in and while trying to get the last one in place the others would pop out. Once this was done it took a few minutes to attach the to the light in his room.(Tip: Although I struggled a lot getting the shade together the most effective way I found was to start with the middle 2 tabs and then do the outer 2)Lighting Results:Unfortunately prior to purchase I didn't pay enough attention about the bulb type to use for this shade to get the best shape projection out the shade. I'm using a Philips Hue colour bulb, as my son loves this bulb and the fact it can change colours and we use it to teach him different colours we will stick with it, there is no shape projection from the shade.Regardless of the fact we don't get shape projection I really like the design and style the shade has in his room and when we dim the colours down, such as a dim magenta, the colours appear through the shade in a pleasant way.Conclusion:The faff of getting the shade together would not put me off purchasing one of these shades again and I like the idea that the shade can be flattened out for storage if you purchase a second shade and can swap between them. Not the products fault but pay attention to the bulb type you require, If have not tried a clear bulb to see if the shape projection works as I'm happy with the result I'm getting from the shade with the hue bulb. For the cost of only £15 the shade is good and to support a small business I'm incredibly happy with my purchase.

Despite having the correct wattage of light bulb the unit melted. I would not recommend as this can be a fire hazard.

When buying this product and seeing the thought process into the beautiful wrapping I was happy with the product until unfortunately whilst my 1 year old son was playing in his bedroom this evening the lampshade completely melted due to the heat and nearly set alight due to the material of the item we are extremely lucky it didnt catch fire especially in my sons room whilst he was playing. Parents please be vigilant when purchasing nursery items.

I bought this for my 5 year old who was impressed with the idea of stars on the wall etc. It arrived on time and though a little fiddly was put together in no time with easy to follow instructions also looked great when in place on the ceiling, that's the end of the positives. I have now spent over £30 on different light bulbs to get the effect that was advertised, yes i bought the light bulbs that was suggested in the package and still no stars shadows on the wall. I have now got a lovely looking lamp that my disappointed 5 year old no longer wants in his room . Don't believe the publicity as it doesn't live up to it.

I installed the lamp in my daughters room and she loves the stars effect on the walls. The lamp was easy to install.Def will buy another one

Love this item and had so many compliments on it! Didn’t realise at first we didn’t put in a clear bulb so once I changed the usual energy saver bulbTo a clear one the effect is very impressive! Wonderful design and my son is so happy thank you!

very clever. Bit fiddly to start, but once i got the hang of it, actually very easy. Bit confused that the shade was rolled with the sticker on the inside, yet the instructions are to join with the sticker on the outside, but i managed it all easily.Lovely colour.Only problem is, no matter what strength of bulb I use, I do not get any star patterns!This was the main reason I chose it.

I could properly make this at home for a few £. After looking at the return address (yes I returned it) it was a house address( thank you goole street view. Not worth the money. They refused to refund me the return dilivery cost so not 100% amazon prime witch i thought.Dont buy mych bettet things out there
