New with planting and gardening anything!! This is dummy proof! I grew my first ever Thai Pepper Seedlings with this and it was soo easy! worked like a charm. Of note I did use a heating pad underneath but this may be pepper specific and I live on the East Coast so it's not always warm temps around here actually freezing this winter. I love how you can water from the root up, very sturdy and I love how you can reuse it and I love the lighting set up. Though I did purchase an additional seperate light warmer on top to use but it was nice when they were first making appearances I just used the lighting it came with. This is definitely an awesome sad and I highly recommend it doing the colder season that I purchased this. Really happy with this seed starter kit. Setup took just a few minutes and the grow light works well. The adjustable dome helps keep humidity in, which made a noticeable difference with germination. The trays feel lightweight but sturdy enough for reuse. Great for herbs, vegetables, or flowers. Nice all-in-one kit for indoor seed starting.

The planter does the job. However, the plastic is pretty much on the level of the cheap ones at the corner stores. Not the quality that will last years. The light is not worth it at all. Tested it on some tomato seeds. They all sprouted but grew very leggy right off. I pulled out another grow light to finish the starts. If you’re on a tight budget, this will work. Keeps things contained. Just get a better grow light though.

Perfect for starting seeds! Great quality. All plastic peices feel sturdy and not cheap even the tools. Love the fact it's type c. It's easy to set up without instructions. I had to look to see what the colors for the timer meant though. Might buy another one!!

My plants love it. I will say the I do prefer letting them air out so once they pop I take the lid off but wow does this work. Winter, fall, summer, doesn’t matter! Let’s you grow year round and the LED’s pop in and out so when I’m not using the nursery I just use the lights by themselves, works great!!!

The light stopped working after 4 days of being on and off and the light already stopped working on both and I only used one. So I’m sure it the cord not providing enough power anyway more

Works really well

Very first thing, check the electrical connections to the grow lights. I laid all the parts of my purchase out and was about to put soil in the seed trays when it occurred to me to check the grow lights. Pretty straight forward,using a correct power supply adapter, plug into 110v power supply and plug male connectors into female plug on top of the light. One light worked fine. 2d light flickered. I checked the connection and the wire came out of the male plug. The connector remained attached to the female plug. The wire just pulled out of the connector. I'm guessing it was not crimped properly. I took advantage of Amazon's return policy and away it went.
