The media could not be loaded. I ordered this charger as a replacement for my broken mac book Pro one. The wore had been almost entirely stripped thanks to a playful puppy.This was affordable, fast delivery and exactly what I needed. Great replacement!

The media could not be loaded. Arrived very quickly. It’s exactly the same as the original Apple charger, just without the logo and a fraction of the cost.

Charger is exactly as described. Works perfectly with my MacBook Air. The cable is a good length and the connector feels secure.

This 96 watt MacBook Pro Charger is quite bulky but looks to be well-made and comes with a heavy duty Type-C to Type-C cable which I measured to be 1.75 m long. It isn't obvious but the 13 amp UK plug is actually an adapter which can be removed by pulling it upwards.The charger operates using the PD (Power Delivery) protocol. This means that your device will NOT 'rapid charge' or 'turbo charge' unless it is PD compatible. Basically, PD devices can draw more current at higher voltages than 5. If your device isn't PD compatible, you will just get 5 volts at whatever current your device demands.Confusingly, this charger is not a universal Type-C charger because it will not charge some devices. I discovered this when my mini label printer looked like it was broken. Another customer mentioned the same issue and solved the mystery when he tried an old standard USB charger.I have tried this charger on various 5 volt devices with loads up to 3 amps (i.e. 15 watts) and it does get warm. Hopefully, the overcurrent and overtemperature protection circuitry will keep you safe.

Relatively inexpensive compared with the Apple version. It did the job for 4 months then began sparking &ultimately expired on me. I purchased another to replace it, but if it too dies on me, I shall invest in the real deal.

I have had this charger for a few months now and can confidently say it is better than the flimsy one I got with my laptop. Whether on purpose or just faulty design, the apple chargers keep breaking no matter what on both my phone and my laptop. I wasn't sure about trying a different brand at first but I'm glad I decided to give it a go. The charger is a little larger but is also much more reliable, no more fiddling with the cable to try and get it to charge the laptop properly.
