This is a really fabulous addition to the price and herb collection. It’s easy lemony and tangy. Absolutely delicious

2nd time ordering this product from same company. Not the cheapest I've seen, but it's good quality and has authentic flavour. I would recommend you buy this if you are looking for the real thing.

Aleppo dried chilli pepper should never be mixed up with dried chilli fakes. The latter has a lot of heat, where as Aleppo pepper has had the seeds and membrane removed before grinding them up - which gives a more subtle warmth without that mule kick of heat (the heat contained within simply tingles the tongue without that Etta James "Lord I'm on fire" moment).With a slight fruity taste and a subtle smokiness, aleppo pepper will suit simple pasta and Mediterranean fish dishes best. Although they would give a serious pimping to potato grattan.Spice wise, they might be a good intermediate level for children, after an introduction to both sweet and smoked paprika.Lastly, the amount in the jar may not seem like a lot - especially considering the price paid, yet a little is surficien (don't be tempted to be heavy handed). Flavour is meant to be enjoyed, and if too hot, that heat not only effects the other flavours in the dish (by overpowering them), but a burning tongue can't mastercate properly and taste the fullness of the dish. A balance is needed, and aleppo pepper can help address this balance if used responsibly.

What great presentation, bought for my own use but would make a great foodie gift. This chilli powder is mild in best buy adds great flavour and colour too.

Leider bin ich von diesem Produkt sehr enttäuscht. Da ich parallel von einem anderen Anbieter das Kashmiri-Chili-Pulver gekauft habe, musste ich beim probieren und vergleichen feststellen, dass dieses nicht im geringsten an das andere Pulver (welches viel günstiger war) herankommt. Das Kashmiri Pulver hat bestimmte charakteristische Eigenschaften, welche hier völlig gefehlt haben. Keine Schärfe, keine Färbung und kein rauchiges Aroma.Für diesen Preis und Anbieter dürfte das nicht passieren - sehr enttäuschend.

Very fresh with incredible aroma. The package is very elegant (I like the little wooden spoon included). I’ve tried many spices but this one by far the best in terms of high quality and distinguished taste. I highly recommend the Aleppo pepper.

This Aleppo pepper arrived quickly, as promised. It is in an attractive jar and includes a lovely little wooden spoon. It seems fresh to me. I recommend it.
