These are 3-star towels. Period. Not premium, not luxury. Average. They are ordinary towels.
I have no idea causes some people to rate some things 5 stars on here. Some of the reviews for this towel are like, "It works as described! 5 stars!" How does that make something a "great" product? I don't get it.These towels are average. They are indistinguishable from the $5 towel I bought from Target 15 years ago and use as a gym towel, and the set of Egyptian cotton towels I bought from Groupon Goods for $20 5 years ago. I know this because I put them side to side and touched them all in sequence and they all feel the same. I bought these towels thinking they would be softer, or more luxurious than the towels that I own now. One would dare say, I expected them to be "premium", as the towels call themselves. They are not. I have shirts that are softer than this. I own rugs and blankets that are softer than these towels. They are average, they feel exactly like coarse towel fabric. They are 3 star towels that do an acceptable job of being a towel. They are not worth any markup over average towels. Only buy these towels if you simply need an average towel, as they are not an upgrade over ordinary towels.

That rare quality we're all looking for!
I can tell by all the questions and reviews that I read while deciding which towels to order that there is a bunch of junk out there. I should know; I've purchased my share. We're all desperately seeking that old fashioned quality towel which we remember very well. And it wasn't that long ago, so they must be around here somewhere?Look no further, here they are. A proper towel must be 100% cotton in my book, and enough of it. These are Turkish cotton (I take them at their word) and plenty of it. I prefer my bath linens without any bands or embellishments, just like these. Nothing but soft, absorbent cotton loops edge to edge.I waited a while to write this review so I could report accurately about how they break-in and hold up. I bought two complete sets of two complimenting colors for my bathroom. The color selection is one of the best at Amazon. They've all been laundered 6-8 times and have only become fluffier and softer and more absorbent.I have also had reason to have contact with the seller (nothing bad) and I can also attest to their fine customer service.I am completely satisfied with these fine towel sets and I think you will be, too.

Nothing Luxury About These
These aren't the worst towels I've ever used, but they're certainly not anywhere near what one might expect after dropping $50. They're marketed as "luxury" but my fiance and I are both having trouble finding the reasoning behind that claim, as there is nothing "luxury" about these. They're smaller than your typical bath towels and the absorbency is akin to a dust rag, requiring either 1) several wipes to get any given area dry OR 2) a source of flowing air to aid partial air drying. On the positive side, the colors didn't bleed when washed and these towels don't "shed" like some other poorly-made bath linens do. That being said, we're both very disappointed with these and unfortunately since we had to actually *use* them in order to gauge absorbency and quality, they're not returnable so we're eating the $50 we wasted and I'm leaving this review in hopes that future customers aren't also suckered in by the liberties taken in both the item description and title. NOT luxury. If you've ever stayed at a motel or a discount hotel, imagine what the bath linens were like and apply that here, except the hotel towels were likely still more absorbent than these....

Best Towels We Have EVER Bought
I cannot get over these towels. I know, what you are thinking, "it's towels, lady, get a life."I usually do not leave a review, but these I have too. I used to have to wash towels every day, because they get used, they get wet, we hang to dry and then they smell. UGH. I have kids, I can't wash towels every day. These are fantastic, we use them, hang them, and they are dry and still smell like they are fresh from the dryer. They aren't paper thin either. (Which was the husbands request when looking at towels) The extra large bath sheet is perfect for him. (He is 6'4") I ordered two sets and am ordering another for the guest bath. Love them!

Soft, Colorful, Quick-Drying, Medium Plush
These towels are described as "luxury" which is an interesting choice of words because luxury is relative. I would describe these towels as medium plush, exactly what I wanted. I wanted a beautiful, colorful, soft, absorbent towel that also dries quickly. If you get a towel that is too thick and you live in a humid climate, it will not dry and then it begins to smell bad, even after washing it until eventually you have to throw it away and buy a new towels! That brings me to the next point: for a set of medium plush towels, the price is fair, neither a steal nor a rip-off. I want to say thank you to the other reviewers who mentioned that these towels dry quickly. You helped me choose to buy these and I'm glad I did!

Horrible dust/lint on towels that won't wash out
I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but my towels came coated in this fine dust-like particles which seems to be of the same material as the towel. if you shake the towel, you see fine dust everywhere. Tried washing them twice and oddly it STILL does has this fine dust. Imagine drying your face and then your face and nose is covered with fine particles that you feel all over your skin. It's horrible. Unusable. If after another two washes it still does this, they're getting tossed in the trash.

Okay, but small
The quality seems okay and the thickness is acceptable, but the size is odd. Long and thin. If you are over 5 feet you might find these a bit restricted for covering the torso when drying off. Not what I would call luxury either. They need to be 50% bigger in width and 25% longer..Not recommended.

Lovely and soft Turkish Cotton..
Great set of towels, lovely quality. Washed really well and work great.. I bought orange ones and they look lovely. Only thing I am disappointed with is that they didn't have lime green ones..lol.. Had to buy a set from another seller Egyptian cotton and they don't come close to the Turkish cotton ones. Turkish cotton is the way forward.. Great buy, u won't be disappointed..

Worth every penny
Good basic towel set. Certainly better quality than what we had before. Good value, too. Great variety of sizes. Lovely colour. I bought this specifically for the colour, to replace all the mismatched towels we had.

Lovely and soft
Really lovely soft towels even after washing. All seem slightly smaller than you usually get with towels but fine for us
