The media could not be loaded. I thought I'd get this to use on top of my monitor, since I don't actually use the laptop without it. But out wouldn't clip on.It is however very bright, with 3 light settings and it's dimmable, and you do all this from a control on the lead.Great.... for laptops.

I use this light above my monitor for DIY projects on my desk, it provides an even and bright light across the whole desk, it looks great on my monitor and hides away easily, it uses USB power so i can simply plug it into my PC which is nearby.

Very good laptop lamp, no eye glear at all, good brightness settings, and warm, natural, white light settingOnly thing that could be improved is the clip, as it's flush on the front of the laptop but on the rear it's way way off on an angle, (but it stays on.)That's my only reason to nock a star off

I spent far too much time in front of my computer for work, I hate it but comes with the job so I power on… Because of this extended time in front of screens I suffer from headaches often. Now Ive only been using this CATPOWER Portable Laptop Monitor Light Bar for around 4-5 days now so its far too soon to truly tell if its going to work its magic and stop the headaches but I havent had one yet.The light shines down and stops the overpowering light from the monitor on your eyes I believe… causing less eye strain.I also love how I can pick the light warmth to match my room (I love a warm glow) and I actually think it looks great too!I haven't actually got this placed on a laptop but on my curved pc monitor and its sits on there without any issues what-so-ever.The only issue I see there being for most PC uses is the cable length… Luckily I have a USB port on my keyboard so the cabling reaches the top of the monitor easily but for someone who has to plug into the tower you may need a USB extender.I love how it looks, I do think its helping with my headaches and the options to control its brightness and white temperature makes this a lovely little light for a great price!

This laptop light is a really useful thing. I need additional light to see the keyboard in the lounge in the evenings and this is ideal. It's really slimline and comes with its own velvet bag, so can be easily and safely stored with the laptop in its bag. The clip is small, so it doesn't encroach on the screen, but holds well (though I did need to hold it by the clip to adjust the direction of the light to keep it from coming off). The clip has a cut-out in the front centre which reveals the laptop camera lens, so the light could even be directed at my face and used as a light for video calls. The advantage of this design is that you can also ensure your camera is not accessible by simply shifting the light by about 1cm, in which case the clip would cover the lens.The controls are easy to use, with separate buttons for power, colour temperature and +/- for brightness, so there are no short/long press settings to remember. The light also remembers your previous settings, so there's no need to reconfigure it to your preference every time you use it.Love the size and functionality, and will use it all the time.
