I have a Dell inspiron 15Z and this battery was the perfect size.It is well explained how to make it work and what to expect. The battery is precharged but has clear instructions how to act if the battery is not fully responding (due to static for example).I am not sure how long the battery will work but is definitely worth the price.PS. There is a perfect video step by step in youtube about how to make the battery change on the Dell inspiron 15Z by user "komputerology"

See the photo of the instructions.It comes with all the tools you need to install it.I have an Alienware 15m R2.This battery is compatible.Verify if it works with your computer.I get about 2 hours of battery life.I'll update this if it suddenly fails.I hope that's helpful.

well made. Perfect math with my G5 5500

This battery didn’t charge all night long and caused the laptop to overheat and burn internally. After flighting for a refund on the battery itself, I now have a 3 year old laptop that is not working. Amazon wasn’t helpful in trying to see if there was any coverage for a faulty battery that burned the laptop. Happy to get my $42 back, but also had to spent $1000 on a new laptop.
