It’s the best knife that I own.
It’s super sharp and it makes a great every day carry knife.

Pretty loud
The media could not be loaded. Spectacular piece. So good that I bought two in case I lose one. The only slight negative I can say is that it's decently loud though when you flip it open normally (you can hear it across a room), unless you block it with your other hand/leg and slowly manually open it. So not possible for stealthy ninja kills like you see in the Last of Us, etc. when SHTF happens, unless you pre-open wayyy ahead of time or slowly fumble with it...

Pricey but nice
Nice action, ergonomics, style and length. Absent lanyard attachment.

Best knife I own.
The opening on this is the smoothest I've ever used. Excellent quality on the handle and scales. Blade has a great edge. Probably won't be carrying this one as of the +$200 price. It's worth the cost for titanium handle w/ CF scales along with M390 blade.

One Absolutely Amazing Knife for its Price
I have been collecting knives since the 1980's; comprised of some Kershaw Kai Cutlery, Gerber , Spyderco and (the majority of them) Benchmade. I was about to buy Benchmade's Turret blackout, but started looking around at the different knives that might be in a similar category as the Turret($208). I came across the Off-Grid Scorpion knife and was intrigued by its features and the materials used in its construction. A knife like this would be in the $400 to $500 range if it were made by some other knife manufacturer. I bought the knife and l am extremely impressed by its fit and finish and quality. There are a lot of positive reviews on the Scorpion in the knife community and all that is different about the 'blackout' version is the impeccable application of the DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating. For me , this gives my favorite Benchmade AFCK(Advavaced Folding Combat Knife) some competition. The Scorpion is definitely a good value for the money especially if one is looking for a large tactical folder. Off Grid Knives may be a small company but if the Scorpion is an example of their workmanship then they are a serious contender in the knife world.

The appearance alone is threatening!
What a beast of a knife....Jesus!Just opening and showing it alone is enough to scare-off people...haha.It took me some getting used to, since this is my biggest and heaviest carry to date. I’ve gotten used to it already and I’m in love with it.Excellent example and a great quality build. Smooth and consistent action and best of all, the clip is reversible for us minorities (lefties). The reversible clip feature had to be there, or else I wasn’t even buying it.I wish I could gush more about the blade quality and all those other neat details it has, but I’m no enthusiast. The blade is solid and the handle comfortably fits in my hand. It comes in a nice package and with a special stamped metal coin as icing on the cake. All in all I am very satisfied with this purchase and I thank you for building a superior knife!-Andrew

Couldn't Make Up My Mind
I couldn't make up my mind between the Scorpion Elite and the Black Mamba. So I purchased both of them. Both are beautifully crafted knives in M390 steel and Titanium. Both lock up tighter than a bank vault. Either one could easily be my EDC. The Black Mamba is a bit smaller than the scorpion but the Mamba seems to be made with thicker titanium plates and M390 Blade. My intention was to return one of them but now that I have them I like them so much that I'll keep both of them. The only drawback is that the country of manufacture is China (Bestech is a Chinese manufacturing firm). I am not a fan of China so I prefer non-communistic manufacturers.

Excellent knife
I have many knifes. All price ranges. Mostly Spyderco but some other brands also. This caught my eye and I started reading and thought well unknown company but good reviews. Figured I could send it back if I did not like it. Been using it for the last 2 weeks edc. Excellent fit and finish. Can't say about blade durability for holding an edge but I don't see this one going back. I like 4 in blades and this one is tough and we'll made rides deep in your pocket and is an easy one handed knife. Would recommend to anyone.
