Excellent Camera. Image resolution is outstanding; it is exactly as advertised and more than what you expect from inexpensive home security cameras suitable for short-distance security camera work. Not having to run cables through your walls is a huge savings plus it can be installed anywhere by anyone with only a screwdriver. The solar camera stays fully charged all the time, thanks to the high-quality Solar Panel. Amazing 10X Optical Zoom and 5 MP quality. The app is very user friendly, you can keep track of your battery percentage, record, adjust your motion detection sensitivity. The full suite of features, especially the tilt, pan and zoom works very well, allows for visual coverage of the entire site, and a clear view of activity on the site. The quality of the image is really good! I’m honestly honestly shocked and very very happy and will definitely be purchasing a second one. With the solar panel partially facing the sun, the batteries have been fully charged each day even when the weather has been cloudy. Amazing company and products.

The Soliom CAMERA ARE SIMPLY AMAIZING...The solar panel keeps it fully charged, and the video recordings are crystal clear. The image quality is amazing, and setup was very easy. They have proven themselves to be durable and useful. The power tilt and pan are great! From the app the camera can be adjusted up and down, left, and right, AND may be zoomed in and out. This makes setup a breeze and allows moving the camera view around using the live feed. This camera has been very good. I was really impressed with how far away from our house this got signal- and we have trees through the Wi-Fi path as well. The battery life and solar panel are very good quality. This product is simply outstanding. The picture quality is remarkable due to the optical zoom along with autofocus capability. Highly recommend Soliom products

When I first opened this item, I was really excited. It looks very well built. And appears well constructed. After setting it up though, I quickly became disappointed. For a security camera., The motion detection is not what you're expecting. Half the time in using it, I had to keep. Resetting the PTZ because the zoom was all out of focus And everything appeared blurry. The advertisement claims that license plates are visible from 500 feet away, and clearly, So I mounted the camera to a block of wood and put it on top of my car at the bottom of my driveway, Maybe 250 feet away from my mailbox, which has a clear line of sight. The shirt I was wearing had pretty large print on it, and I recorded myself walking up to the mailbox. At the mailbox, I waved my arms around to see if the pick up motion detection, which it does not. I also tried to zoom all the way in to read the right shirt, which is bigger than the letters on a license plate, and it went in and out of focus. Then I tried resetting the PTZ and it cycles all around in different directions when you do this, so not the best if you are trying to track something or someone. I was then able to get a very clear picture, but if something was happening quickly, this would have been a complete waste of time. I was expecting something like my Ring camera where I can set up zones and it will only record motion in those zones, ignoring other motion, so you do not have to sift through everything manually. What a hassle! I was going to put this on top of my garage and sight it down the driveway to alert me when people come down our driveway, but this A.) wont pick up motion happening at 250+ feet, and B.) If you have anything in sight, if it was of value, you would be capturing all motion within view of the camera, and recording everything. This is NOT what I expected, especially after watching unboxing videos on YouTube. Bait and Switch! This camera has potential, but the developer needs to work more on the operating system and create better features/functionality.

Setting up was quick; within minutes, I had it connected to my home network and monitoring key areas. The video quality is outstanding, providing crisp, clear images both day and night thanks to its infrared night vision capabilities (see my day and evening photos). What impressed me most was the motion detection feature. It detects any movement and immediately sends notifications to my smartphone, allowing me to quickly check the live feed or recorded footage. This has given me peace of mind, especially when I'm away from home. The SOLIOM app is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to customize settings and view recordings remotely. I now have both cameras on the one app. I appreciate the cloud storage option, where my footage is securely backed up and accessible anytime.
