BIG and Super Bright!
I installed this corn bulb in our greenhouse. I wanted a bulb that rendered illumination near daylight so the plant colors look natural. This bulb is 5000K, which is the color of bright daylight. I screwed this into an existing ceramic fixture. The base of this bulb is E26, which is the standard household bulb size. An E26 to E39 adaptor is included for commercial fixtures. This bulb is nearly eight inches long and about twice the diameter of a typical light bulb. I had no problems screwing it into the overhead ceramic fixture, but this bulb probably won't fit into many lamps and enclosed light fixtures. The light was blinding when I turned this bulb on for the first time! It will hurt your eyes if you look at it. A slider switch on the bulb allows turning the brightness down, but I haven't used it. I love the full illumination this bulb provides. The rated life of this bulb is 50,000 hours. That's almost six years of constant use!So far, this bulb has performed perfectly. The bright light radiates in all directions without shadows or hot spots. Initially, I was concerned about how hot this bright light might get. I'm happy to report that although it gets warm, it's no more than a typical LED and certainly way less heat than an incandescent. Since it is such a large bulb, I have to be conscious of its existence so I don't break it when moving other items in the greenhouse. I love this bulb so far. It's lovely to have so much light and see every corner of my greenhouse.

Brightest lights ever
I needed some lights that were lower wattage, but delivered a ton of light and these delivered. The fixtures i have are only rated for 120watts and these just barely make the cut. The comparable incandescent lights are 300watts plus and generate more heat than light. These have worked great for a few months now and I couldn't be happier. The only downside of these lamps is their massive size. I know its an unrealistic gripe, but of they could make them more mushroom shaped so they don't hang down so far they would be perfect.

So bright, I saw stars after looking straight at it
First Impressions of SAGFU 2-Pack G 80W Daylight White LED Corn Light Bulb 10400Lumen 100-277V Super Bright E26 E39 5000K Replacement 300 Watt CFL Metal Halide HID HPS for Indoor Garage Yard Work Shop OutdoorWow, this is bright. Not just bright, but WHOA bright. I am using this bulb currently in a lamp so I can take clear pictures with my phone. Simply put, YES!! The light output is advertised as a 300 watt equivalent but I feel like this bulb is brighter than that.Unfortunately for this review, incandescent bulbs have gone by the wayside and I can’t do a side by side test. However, I do have CFLs that I did a comparison test with. I had 4 18 watt CFL bulbs that were 75 watt “incandescent equivalents”. With a lux meter measuring the light output from a meter (yard plus) away, the 4 CFLs registered 136 lux. The same test on the SAGFU bulb registered 286 lux! The bulb is advertised as an 80 watt bulb. The draw according to my wattmeter was only 75 watts. They call this style of bulb, “corn cob” bulbs because all the LEDs look like corn kernels. The form factor is too large to go in a normal lamp with a harp. As you can see from my pictures, this bulb makes normal bulbs look tiny. This bulb needs to be installed in an open socket/fixture that will allow the bulb to “breathe”. The bulb has some serious heat sink fins built in and it needs it. The bulb definitely gets hot. The LEDs are shielded behind clear plastic. At the asking price, the eye-opening light output represents a great value in my book. In residential usage, it would be difficult to find affordable easy alternatives to this screw in bulb. With my eyes getting older, the extra light is very helpful.

Great lights
I am replacing all the incandescent bulbs in my garages and shops with these type bulbs. They throw off a lot of light and use much less electricity. Light bulbs have come a long way!

Bright and blinding white.
This bright bulb is easy to install to replace any old fluorescent or incandescent light. I use this corn light bulb to replace an old 18w fluorescent light and the difference is day/night.The kits comes with two units and also includes an adapter in case your are replacing an HID light, for my case in my garage I use the standard base E26 and installing these are as simple as screwing it into the ceramic base. The light output is blinding white, the corn light will shoot light in every direction just like the old incandescent bulbs with the difference of the light being extremely white so white that the color tone is getting closer to the blueish tone. The unit itself does not make a huge amount of noise, the heat exhaust fan is not noticeable at 2-3 feet and same for the radiating heat.Light is definitely to be installed at more than 6 feet high otherwise it will be like a huge spot light.Well recommended if you don't dislike ultra white light.

HUGE bulbs, but very bright!
These 120watt bulbs are gigantic! Keep that in mind when you get them... they are huge! Even the 80watt bulbs is rather large. Much larger than any LED bulb I'v ever used before. These things are blindingly bright. And they DO put out heat, almost as soon as you turn them on you can feel the heat coming off of them. There is an active fan inside to cool the leds/heatsink. If you are in a quiet area then I am sure you will hear these. If they are going above in your garage, you probably won't hear them at all.I'm torn on these because they use 120watts of power. For about the same/slightly more wattage you could have a larger fixture that puts out more light and is going to be more efficient than this single bulb.I would not put this in an enclosed fixture at all. It would get way too hot, and I would be afraid of something melting/catching fire. I don't know if there really is a thermal cut off or shut down on these bulbs. I'd rather not chance it and put them in a place that would cause issues. These are NOT meant for outdoor open/exposed bulbs.I think this is a decent option for a bright bulb. But you are going to be limited on where this thing goes/fits... Open fixtures/attic spaces, garage...etc.
