GG&G Accucam Mount For Eotech 512/552 Gun Stock Accessories

I think my title pretty much sums it up. If you decide to use the included tools, be very careful. I ended up stripping one of the screws on my EOTECH. After $41 and a trip to Sears I was able to remove the screw. Use a quality star bit and a nice driver. After that ordeal I was able to install the accucam. It fit very well on my rail and was extremely easy to adjust. Feels very sturdy too. I'll post some more updates after I go to the range. My prediction is that it will stay in place. This is soooo much better than the crappy thumb screw provided by EOTech.Update 03/27/18:After going to the range several times using this product on my AR, I can absolutely say that it stays true!

I've installed four of these on EOTech 512s and one on an XPS2 (different model Accucam). All work perfectly when properly adjusted, which is dead easy. It's equally easy to install, and the necessary star and Allen wrenches are included. Not much to say about it, since it does what it's designed to do and does it exactly how it should. Take it off and put it back on at the same rail slot and it holds its zero. As another reviewer said, it does stick out a bit but not objectionably to me. If it's properly adjusted it would be pretty hard to dislodge it by snagging it something. The knob on the Aimpoint M4 mount sticks out more, and that doesn't seem to upset the military.EOTech says that removal of the hood screws voids the warranty. Haven't had to test that, and hope I never do.

Well made and designed. Fits as you would expect from the product description. Allows you to quickly remove from your rifle and attach to another. Nothing fancy. Wish Amazon product description would indicate that this works on EOTech's 511/512. Had to go to GG&G website to find out if it would fit my Model 512.Pros: works well as designed.Easy installation.Cons: need to remove factory EOtech screws to mount which may void warranty if problems occur with your optics. Product is flat gray/black and sticks out like a sore thumb. Painted mine black to match optic and rifle. Profile-sticks out a bit further than I'd prefer.Overall a great product. Would recommend for purchase.

I strongly recommend this mount and I have installed this mount on multiple EOTechs.This mount replaces the cross bar bolt of the EOTech and replaces it with a QD mounting system. I prefer a QD system for my optics, so that it is easy to change my configuration with out worrying about proper torque or stripping the threads. It is securely mounted to the unit with two screws, and the crossbar is adjustable for tension in the fully closed position. Works just like advertised!The existing design on my EOTech 512 leaves much to be desired in terms of quick-detach abilities. This product allows me to remove the scope and place it back on within 5 seconds. Being able to remove your optic quickly and effectively is CRUCIAL whether you're using it as active military/law enforcement, or 3Gun competitions. If your optic goes down, you can quick remove it and use your iron sights.Can't say enough how well this product just works!

Makes it a lot easier/quicker to remove unit. Easy install and it replaced the worn out factory screw, thought it should be a little cheaper but I'm glad I bought it!

Fits. Easy to install and works as designed. Easy to detach and quick to re-attach. I have not tested it's capability to maintain zero.

Bought this for a gift but I understand that he uses it so must be helpful
