excellent value.
made everything sound so much better. had a 50w combo before this, have now attached a 120w pa and use my korg floorboard through it, also a pod, the sound is far far better than the combo.

Beautiful twin cab!
This is pretty cheap for a twin, and gives great tone and flexibility from sparkling clean to crushing metal. Sure, there are better cabs out there, but I am really happy with mine! The handles recessed into the top make it easy to carry, it's durable, and pairs great with my Orange Micro Dark head. Small head, awesome tone. Pair with that and you have a gig worthy amp setup for only £290, less than many mid level combos!

Great Little Cab
I bought this cab mostly to have something to try out different speakers in. I like trying different speakers with different amps, I find that a speaker change affects the tone much more than tubes or strings, or even pickups. I was frankly not expecting much from the stock HH speaker, especially since there is not much positive said about them on the forums or other reviews. I have been pleasantly surprised however. This speaker is pretty good, but I will say that it needs a bit of a break in. It was quite harsh and bright at first. I know some people say that speakers don't really break in, it is just the perception of the user that changes; and I could understand why some people wouldn't get past this initial stage and pull the speaker out. It did not sound good at all at first. It didn't take much time (fortunately, only about 10 hours) to smooth out considerably. This experience has proved to me that a new speaker can change significantly. The tone of the stock speaker is kind of mid scooped and not real efficient. It is similar to a Celestion T75, but the HH has a bit more mids that the T75. It seems like it is geared toward high gain metal stuff, especially if you have high gain with a lot of lows and low mids. The cab is very small and light and easy to transport. It will not replace your 4x12, but it was able to hold its own at my loud band practice with my EVH 5150 III w/EL34s. I had to turn up a little more than usual with my 2x12 but that is to be expected. No compact 1x12 will be as loud as a 2x12.Overall if you want a lot of cutting mids like with Celestion G12H30 or V30 then this is probably not for you, unless you want to swap the speaker. I haven't done that yet, I will update this review when I do. All in all, I am very happy with this cab. I may buy another.Update 2/14/20: I have changed speakers in this cab multiple times, using a Eminence Private Jack, a Celestion A Type, and a well broken in Vintage 30. The PJ and A Type both sounded good. The cab is well made and reasonably sturdy and for a compact cab it sounded pretty good with these speakers. However, I was blown away when I put the V30 in it. The cab sounded HUGE, with thick low end and mids that cut thru the mix. I used the same EVH 5150III and with a V30 this 1x12 was noticeably louder than my 2x12 with the exact same amp settings. I was never happier with my tone, and I didn't think I even liked the Vintage 30 before I tried it in this cab. The price of this cab has gone up, but it is still a good deal for how light and small it is. Highly recommended.

... a full size Peavey 6505+ 120 watt head just fine! LOUD
Handles a full size Peavey 6505+ 120 watt head just fine!LOUD!Price is right on.I bought this as a low dollar, leave-at-home practice cab so I could leave the 4x12 at the practice space. You get lazy as you get older. This does work as I wanted it to as a practice, lower volume cabinet. But I have no doubt that this thing could very well power through a smaller gig easily.Only 4 stars because I find it to be a tad bright. It sizzles a bit and it's very crisp. I normally play through my tried and true Marshall 1960A 300 watt cabinet. I may update this review after the speakers are broken in.But I am so happy with this Laney. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

Decent build for the price. Great for beginners.
So, first off I would like to say, I have OCD and tend to take apart everything to inspect and put back together my sane way, which just means, I’ll put it back together the right way. I would have to say the wood used for this cab is good quality ply and the baffle is Good as well. I would need to add more wood glue at the joints just to make sure their is no air leaks being this a closed back cab. The speaker will be swapped out, not that the speaker is bad, it’s just not my taste but it is great for metal, that’s for sure. Pay attention to the wire connections from speaker to jack, the wires were crossed! Over all, I like the size of the box, the tolex is nice, the build is good and would recommend, just make sure you inspect it. My last comment is WHY IS EVERYTHING IS MADE IN CHINA!!!!!
