Fantastic Resource!
I have really enjoyed using this cookbook. I bought it without an understanding of Ayurveda or doshas and used it like I would any other cookbook. The recipes I tried were delicious, and encouraged me to continue using the book with a better understanding. After a bit more research, I began using the book with the intention of balancing, increasing and decreasing certain doshas. In addition to recipes, the book contains a good bit of information on each dosha and the effects created by different foods. I found this to be very helpful, as I prepare meals for a diverse group of family members and understanding what they crave and what they need helps me to make meals that each of them enjoys. A couple of the recipes (Creamy Miso Lentils and the Berry Kapha Pie) have already become staples in our household. Highly recommended!

Easy, delicious and really fun recipes
I bought this for myself and as a wedding gift to a friend who has Celiac's disease. She said, "I love this author, she is so fun to read, I love how she personalizes the recipes, I feel like she's in my kitchen with me. Plus, I have all these ingredients in my pantry already, except one or two, so I can just open the book and cook. I want to take personal cooking classes with her."I love it because of the new ideas on how to prepare gluten free dishes, and the wonderful way Talya Lutzker makes it easy and fun with how she describes the food and process. I hope she writes more cook books, and I think it would be great if she could do a cooking show.

Ayurvedic Vegan Kitchen
Has lots of information about using Ayurvedic principals for health - food is medicine. The recipes are great and the explanations were straight forward and easy to understand. I keep this on my kitchen counter as a handy reference. If a recipe has an ingredient that may not be a pantry staple, she often gives you substitutions that will easily be found at groceries. I'm enjoying this book - it's a keeper.

Excellent Healthy Cookbook!
I completely fell in love with this cookbook! I had been trying to use Dr. Lad's book but got frustrated with difficult to find ingredients and recipes that were not at all familiar me. The Ayurvedic Vegan Kitchen uses easy to find items and the recipes are for dishes that have a familiar feel and that my family isn't afraid to try. I have a skin condition and everytime I eat recipes from this cookbook, my skin condition greatly improves. Amazing!

I swear by this cookbook
This cookbook is my go to. I make the dressings to have on salads and sandwiches. The miso lentils are one of my big go-tos. I've learned so much from her recipes.

Interested in Ayurveda? Get this book!
I love learning about Ayurveda but as a vegan, traditional Ayurvedic remedies call for some meat and dairy so this is a helpful tool to apply Ayurveda to a vegan lifestyle.The recipes are fun to prepare and the author provides helpful details and advice. I love this book so much I enjoy giving copies as a gift.

Good choice
I love dhal and had been trying to find a recipe to duplicate what I get in Indian restaurants. This was it. I have been journeying toward a diet more in the Ayurvedic tradition, so this is a valuable addition to my references.

Easy
I bought this for a friend who wanted more vegan meals ad to be healthier. She wanted recipes according to her body type. According to her, this book did not disappoint. The recipes themselves are easy to make and very flexible, if you do not have an ingredient. She loved the food.

Un libro di ricette senza foto è inguardabile, perciò di base avrei assegnato molte meno stelle ma i testi sono davvero interessanti e ben fatti, su un tema molto particolare e su cui è difficile trovare informazioni, in quanto la medicina ayurvedica considera latte e derivati molto benefici. Lo consiglio alle persone che stanno cercando la salute e la serenità.

I love this cookbook
I love this cookbook! I have many books on this subject, but these are the recipes that never fail to satisfy my taste buds while nourishing my body with healthy, delicious food and flavours. Unlike other cookbooks featuring recipes originating in India, Talya Lutzker has created balanced dishes that don't flare or upset my stomach. The author has a great understanding of Ayurveda, as well as original and healthy renditions of modern and traditional dishes. If I could only have one cookbook on Ayurvedic vegan recipes, this is the one!!

Thank you and bless you. I have just received your book. It is obviously inspiring. I have had these principles in my life for some time but been somewhat lackadaisical about applying. I tend to make the 'same 'ol same 'ol' always because I'm lazy and when I find balance it feels so complete I look no further. (Kitcheri with whatever seasonal veg is going). But now I have to consider others as well, hence this fortuitous discovery!I will review more completely when I have read it, and applied further principles.BestNevis Cameron
