Most reliable microSD cards I've ever used.
I've tried a lot of different microSD cards over the years. They've ranged in capacity from 16GB to 512GB. I've tried many name brands and a few no-name brands. The most dependable cards I had used before were from San Disk and Samsung. Even those discs would eventually be corrupted by the daily power cycling of the RasPi systems. The machines were always shut down properly before being powered off, but the microSD cards would still fail after a couple of months. Then, I saw these Pro Endurance cards from Samsung. After reading about them, I realized these were made to be used the way I was using them. I basically had DSD or HiRes music playing from a partition on the microSD cards straight into DACs connected to audio amplifiers 18 hrs a day all over my home. So, I ordered a couple of them. I created my normal dual-partition combination boot drive plus data drive SD image on each of the Pro Endurance cards. Then, I replaced the cards in two of the music players with these new cards. Before trying these cards, the longest I had any microSD card last was under 2 months. I've been running those two Pro Endurance machines for well over a year, now. They still work perfectly. I am blown away by the difference in longevity. If I could always use these, I wouldn't buy any other card. Unfortunately, there is one major problem with these cards. These cards max out at a paltry 128GB. My music collection won't even fit on a 512GB SD anymore, so 128GB is just out of the question. So, in order to keep the dependability of the boot drive intact, I had to move the audio files onto their own large thumb drive. As a result, I just buy the smallest size of this microSD disc now and use it only to boot the systems and then start the media player software. All of the constant file access for playing music is hosted on the USB thumb drive, now. This two-drive approach is a very expensive solution to get reliable booting plus enough storage space for my music collection, I would entirely prefer to put a 1TB microSD into the Pi then split it into two partitions. It would eliminate the bulk and awkwardness of having a thumb drive sticking out of the Pi. Sadly, that's not possible with the largest size only being 128GB. So, I love these cards, but I hate that they are not available in the size I really need. For now, they're only useful as a reliable boot device. Still, they work so well, that my Pi builds boot every time, now. I definitely recommend these, if you can live without the larger disc sizes. ----- Thanks for reading! -Bill ----- * If you found any of this information helpful, please let me know by clicking "Helpful" below. -----

perfect for my needs and exceeded expectations
Samsung Pro Endurance card exceeds expectations and proves to be perfect for my needs! I have a wide array of micro sd cards for a range of devices. I'm using this one for my gopro which I use quite often during scuba dives. For this purpose you want to make sure you have a fast card not only to record the 4k videos in realtime but also when you sync your gopro to your tablet or phone to view/download/edit content. I've run into troubles before where inferior cards would cause significant lag at this stage and I've even had a cheap $10 card corrupt the entire collection, hard lesson learned. This card which is advertised to be able to handle continuous recording has performed perfectly. I like that it is built to last and is waterproof, specifically seawater, as I am constantly changing out the card from my gopro to download in my computer. The 64gb size is perfect for video in regards to size including smooth recording at 4k. When transferring data to the computer, im getting 20mb transfer speeds and most importantly able to maintain it throughout the file transfer. Overall, this is exactly what I needed and it is working beautifully especially being durable, fast, and reliable. In a marketplace where memory cards are a dime a dozen, this brand stands true.

1.63 PB of Write Endurance for 256gb card? (1,638 TB of WE- my calculation based off Samsung's AD)
about 1.63 PB (petabytes, thus 1,630TB) of Write Endurance is SUPER impressive, if its true in a realworld test! (ie with true random data) This is referring to the 256GB model of this samsung sd card. (to be clear today is Sep 7 2022, SD card im refereeing to is "256GB SAMSUNG PRO Endurance MicroSDXC Memory Card with Adapter" (ie is a micro SD card, that is white in color, with Blue and grey text). NONE of the high endurance SD card manufactures specify the true write endurance of the SD cards they sell (ie Sandisk does not). So its nice to see Samsung state this in the ad (although it should also be stated in xxx TB of write endurance, just like with enterprise SSD / NVMe drives, including Samsung's drives). The Samsung ad states (here on amazon), for the 256gb model: "records and rewrites up to 140K hours (over 16 years)" MOST IMPORTANTLY, in the fine print they specify WHAT they are "recording" for 140K hours. This is the critical part: "Based on Full HD(1920x1080) video content RECORDED AT 26Mbps (3.25MB/s)." <<-- that line is the most important spec. Thus, 3.25 * 60 * 60 * 140,000 = 1.63 PB (IE: 3.25 MB/s * 140k hours). There are full sized ENTERPRISE SSD drives that dont have 1.6PB of write endurance (although some ofcourse have much more than this also). I would LOVE to see someone test this and post the results. (it would clearly take a WHILE to test this, but the results would be VERY valuable to the community buying these card). If i do this, i will update with a link. (i use LOTs of 128-256gb High endurance SD cards in Axis IP Network cameras). Im lucky that i have yet to have a failure. (i use only the major brands of high endurance micro SD cards, ie: Sandisk, Samsung, Toshiba) Hope this info is helpful, and i will update if i end up doing a real-world endurance test.

Better than a poke in the eye with a pointerd stick
I didn't realize there is a difference in cards for cameras and just plain storage. After buying two cards that were useless in my dashcam. After some research I realized I was buying the wrong card, these are perfect for camera and dashcam applications. Well worth the money and an asset to have when people get stupid and you then try to lie to the law enforcement officers that show up to clean up their messes. This does not replace a card for a dash cam it is a new card for a cam that came with a 4gig card that was pretty much useless because it was too small. I can now record my entire trip to Vegas With a dashcam rolling, you have indisputable proof of what went down, put one in front and back and one on each side of the vehicle you can even get the boneheads that pull up beside you with that red ass road rage looking to take it out on some unfortunate victim because they are so brainless they have to take their frustrations out while driving. I fully endorse the use of these cards to capture the worst of humanity.

Great for dashcam use
I bought a pair of these to use with my dashcam (a Viofo A119v3), and so far have not had any problems. No problem recording 2560x1600 video, and can store about a week of my commute before it needs to start overwriting it, good stuff. Obviously the endurance component will need to be tested over time, but even regular SD cards have lasted years for me, I don't imagine these will be failing any time soon. Value is decent - the PRO Endurance versions are about 2x as expensive as the regular cards. For most uses I wouldn't care, but for dashcam use, I am more than willing to spend the extra money up front, especially since you can get so much space for so little these days. If it comes down to it, I would purchase a smaller-capacity PRO Endurance card than a larger-capacity standard micro-SD, at least for this use case. I typically install one in the camera and keep a second with a USB-C SD card reader ( an uni Sturdy USB C to Micro SD adapter) in my car. This way, if I do witness an accident I can backup the video onto my phone, surrender the one SD-Card to the officer on duty, and install the backup one for my trip home. It also is useful as a fallback in case the one MicroSD fails, is lost (dropped in some inaccessible place in the car) or damaged in some way. Anyway, would recommend thus far. Will leave an update if anything comes up.

Fantastic SD card for Reliable Storage in Cameras
For anyone that doesn't know what High Endurance cards do, they are designed to be extremely reliable under a vast range of temperatures (-25C/-13F to 85C/185F), for constant writing as video cameras are constantly writing data to the card, which on other cards would weaken it much faster over time, and it's also xray, water, and magnet proofon top of being virtually temperature proof. Because of this, these cards are designed for things like Dash Cameras, Video surveillance cameras, body cameras and so on...for non-video related tasks I wouldn't recommend this as you'll be paying a premium for something you won't get much benefit out. If you do have sensitive data you want reliably kept I would never have a single point of failure anyway--back it up onto multiple devices. Anyway, 100MB/s read, 30MB/s write is top of the line for SDXC cards. I like that it also came with an SD card adapter to make it easier to transferring the data to your computer. I use this for a Dash Cam and I've had zero issues with it. I really like Samsung for flash storage. My computer has all Samsung SSDs and I've never had a problem with those either. Highly recommended for reliable camera storage.

Lasted almost 7 years in my dashcam before conking out.
Bought in 2019 for my dashcam which records all the time even when the car is off. Finally died during the 2026 cold snap. Probably about as good as I could expect from this sort of usage. Unfortunately, it died completely instead of failing in read-only mode.

Great endurance for always on cameras and dash cams
I previously used Sandisk for cameras and dash cams but many of them kept failing, even though they said high endurance. Bought this and working great after a couple of months. Cheers! Do note for some cameras, they don't support beyond 64GBs so it was a safe option for me.

Memory card as advertised and appears geniune
I got this as the largest capacity that is supported for my Thinkware FA200 dashcam. All the online reviews I've read suggest that this brand is the best "endurance" micro-SD card for dashcams. The memory card arrived promptly via US Post (several days earlier than their earliest "expect by" date) and appears to be geniune. It works fine on my dashcam and my computer detected the correct memory capacity. Obviously, I can't vouch for its endurance right now, but I am happy with it so far.

Great quality video, large enough capacity for a dashcam
I am using SAMSUNG 128 PRO Endurance for my Viofo A119 v3 dsahcam. The video quality is awesome and I was able to store the entire 500 KMS of my trip high quality video in this chip. Go for it!!!
