Worked- good savings over dealer part
Worked fine, except too tight in the deep single gang box i had, so I had to find a slightly wider single box. But because the wires were so thick (50 amp service) I had to buy a box extension(deeper box) to make it all fit. But got it done and it works fine.

Good quality thick metal contacts
This is a good quality outlet the contacts are smooth and free of sharp or rough edges , they are also very thick as well . the screws are large and the insulation is nice and thick . I cannot verify it is industrial quality but it is built well .

It worked great, but absolutely not heavy duty and long life, it's a simple home use grade and cant be super reliable.

Solid UL listed
This review is for the NEMA 14-50R Outlet, 50 Amp 250V Heavy-Duty Power Outlet. As you can see from the photo this is UL listed and very good quality for the price. The lugs are large enough to easily accommodate #6 AWG wire. It's price competitive with the big box store but looks to be of better quality.
