No better value.
This thing can cast with the best of them. No problem casting a weightless fluke, or senko. I don't need to carry a spinning rod anymore. I don't care for the handles, but not that big of a deal. No backlashes when set right. Can't beat the price. Caught several largemouth all 2lb and under so I can't say how it will do on the big ones, but I expect it to do fine. Alot of value in this reel.

More than I expected
As a fisherman, you can never have too many reels. I have bought other cheap reels so I had pretty low expectations. I was highly surprised by the quality of this reel.This thing picks up some line and picks it up quickly. It is great for a t rig or top water. What surprised me most was the smoothness. A lot of other cheaper reels just did not feel good and was a bit crunchy. That is not the case here.The size and weight are both nice too. It paired well with a 7'3 MH rod. I have smaller hands but this is lorlw profile enough to fit comfortably.The negative is the handle. It is metal and has a hole in the middle. Infound it to feel small and like it was just missing something. When mynhamd got wet, it slipped a few times while reeling.All in all, I would recommend getting this if you are a beginner or a more experienced angler. The only think I can think that could cause pause would be longevity, but that will have to be a follow up.What it can do is land a fish. It landed the little guy

Its a Keeper

With a 7.3:1 gear ratio and 19.8LB drag, these reels should be able to handle a wide range of fish.The compact design and lightweight construction make it comfortable for long runs. The carbon fiber handle adds a touch for asthetics. The 6+1 hybrid ball bearings provide smooth feel on reel.Bought the Right handed, but am used to using spinning reels rod in my right hand. This had me swap. If you want your ROD in your right hand, should have gotten a LEFT.Basic requirement. Catches fish. Check. Its a keeper.
