This review is for the Renekton Heavy Duty Cold Chisels Set, 3/8 in, 1/2 in, 5/8 in, CR-V Steel, For Cutting Rivets, Rods and Bolts, Removing Slag，3 Piece.Renekton are nice chisels but I wish I had never had the need of them. Recently a magnetic knife block collapsed in the kitchen, heavy knives and all.I would never have used an adhesive mounting knife block, but I live in an apartment and I wanted to limit damage to the walls and cabinets. That did not work out. The accident left thick, hard adhesive residue both on the knife block and on a door. There is no way I can remove the adhesive nicely, but remove it I shall.

This is a pretty good set of cold chisels, as good as anything you'd find in a store. They have a pretty sharp edge for chisels of this type, and the paint job is good as well. They're clearly marked with the size if that matters to you. You can reuse the case for storage, but I didn't. I have a number of chisels so I store them in other ways. They're made of chrome vanadium, so they should be durable. Finally, the price is fair, so I'd get these again.

Nicely packaged on with a plastic fitted case that can be stored by hanger loop on case to a pegboard or other tool storage rack. I expected the chisels to have more 'heft' but they were relatively smaller than others I have but they are still of good quality and the smaller size may be more desirable in some applications.

The media could not be loaded. The Renekton Heavy Duty Cold Chisels Set has been quite handy for my latest project. I originally only needed the 5/8 cold chisel, but having the set with different sizes has proven to be very convenient. It's housed in a sturdy case, which keeps everything organized and easy to carry around. I'm a graduate degree'd engineer with a great appreciation for well made tools and also the owner of a handyman service who uses his well made tools daily. From that perspective I believe this set represents an excellent value for light-duty/DIY'er use, but at this very low price point it's just not possible to produce a set of pro quality cold chisels. But most folks, me included, don't need pro quality cold chisels, so the value proposition of this set works for most users.A few specific comments .... Of my three chisels one had a nicely sharpened edge, one had an edge with an easily discernible rolled edge (still very usable) and the third chisel's edge was blunt to the point of not doing a good job of cutting through a small aluminum rivet. Other than the cutting edges the overall build and finish quality on these is very good to excellent. I appreciate that a durable plastic storage case is included, but I find it oddly bulky, needlessly taking up precious space in the toolbox I keep in my work vehicle. I've already replaced the plastic container for a rubber band, which keeps everything together and takes up far less space.So, this is a good set (a very good set even) for the money and well worth consideration for DIY'er or light-duty uses.

this is a nice chisel set. they are strong and chisel great. so far i have had no issues with this product.
