It’s deceptively brilliant. Super small and you have to wiggle it around a bit to get it to work AND to remove it, but once you get the hang of it, it works really well. Definitely need an inside opening door and a minimal amount of decorative molding or it won’t fit!

Easy to use and secure door.

This is excellent. We only have a deadbolt and so we put this in the door handle slot and it works great. Super secure, a nice added layer of security without having to screw anything into the door frame.

I never usually travel alone or I travel by myself to be with friends or family, so Ive never pulled the trigger to get one of these. I had to do a solo trip recently and I felt like I needed to grab one of these, better to have spent $10 and be extra safe then be sorry. I like this a lot because even if the hotel do has a latch or a "deadbolt", I have seen how people can get around them, even the lock, hotel have masterkeys. and this prevents anyone from getting in. ALSO I don't know why but a lot of public restrooms, even sketchy rest stops, dont have proper locks on the stall doors, or they are so busted up that you have to risk it and rush before anyone comes in, so the fact i can use this in my day to day life, to secure any restroom stall door. ALSO TO THE ALSO, I am always at bars and resturants the dont have hooks under the bars for your purse and i never want to put my bag on the floor or on the chair where i can't see if anyone takes it or goes through it so you can use this to clamp on to the bar put your straps on it! TOTALLY worth $10

Will not work on residential locks, will not work at air B&B's. Tried on a commercial lock at a hotel.FAIL!!!! It might be capable of holding back a skinny 8 year old. Save your money. NOT SECURE. I BUMPED IT WITH MY HIP SNAPPED RATHER EASY.

Bought this to take on a solo trip. Had to explain a couple of times to airport security what it was but no problems. Can only be used on a door that has a slight gap between the door and the jamb, but works well in those circumstances. A little extra peace of mind! Lightweight and easy to pack.

I ordered this compact easy to use gadget for travelling.

This device works well enough for me, for keeping my elderly parent from wondering out on their own. However, as a home security device, it is pretty lightweight and flimsy to provide much security.I bought a heavy duty one, but it did not fit under my door.So, if you just need this to prevent people (kids, elderly) from exiting without anyone's attention, it would work well enough.As a home security device, it is not going to work well.

Bought this after trying it on our home doors. Did not fit in a hotel room door, which was the reason I bought it.
