Great item. Follow the directions closely on this site as the written directions you get in the mail with your tree are confusing and incomplete. The tree has grown like crazy!! It looks beautiful. So happy with my purchase.

I ordered two Bonsai trees from Costa Farms. A Juniper, and Ficus. The Juniper came in great shape, was very healthy, and had a lush green covering on top of the soil. Packaging was great, and ensured they got to me in one piece.UNFORTUNATELY the Ficus had mold all over the soil, and it was basically dead before it got here. I spent the past week trying to bring it back to life (even replanted it), but it couldn't even hold on for a week. It's unfortunate because the Juniper is doing great and looks extremely healthy so they obviously know how to care for bonsai trees, but I think they just threw the ficus in a box and sent it off without caring what shape it was in.

**UPDATED REVIEW - 1 STAR TO 5 STARS**I left a review a couple of weeks ago and gave Costa Farms a 1 star review ... now I am giving a 5 star review.Ordered 4 plants, including the Bonsai tree, and the Bonsai tree got beat up during shipping. The other 3 Pathos plants were in great shape and they are thriving. I made a mistake in leaving the 1 star review.After I took the time to view Costa Farms website ... they made it 100% easy to request a refund and it was deposited into my account the same day! Great customer service and I am very impressed!I will definitely recommend Costa Farms and thank you! You exceeded my expectations.I wanted to recognize excellent customer service ... That is a very rare thing these days.

This Bonsai tree arrived very well packed, and the soil was moist. Once shipped, it went UPS 2-day which was reassuring. I was waffling between three and four stars for the below reasons.I needed a very specific variety of Bonsai (Ficus Ginseng) for a gift and couldn’t find a healthy one in any of my local nurseries or stores. I didn’t realize until after ordering that it was the grower’s choice on which variety I would be receiving, and the purchase was non-returnable. I reached out to Amazon customer service who were amazing and provided me the farm’s customer service number. The farm was too busy to take my call, and I was forced to leave a message. The frustrating part was they finally called me back at 5:50 AM on the day the tree was being delivered! (Grrr) At this point, if it was the wrong species I was stuck with a plant I didn’t want. Also, at 5:50 AM there was NO WAY I was answering the phone…Another three star reason – the size. The listing states a 1-year-old 10” tree. I received something much smaller. (See photos)I landed on 4-stars for these reasons though.1.) The tree is the species I requested in my phone voicemail. Is it because they got my message and specifically shipped it? I’ll never know but I’m so glad it worked out!2.) This little tree is extremely healthy! The leaves are all shiny and a dark green.3.) They included a cute white pot with a drain hole that will fit this little tree for at least the next year or so.4.) It came with a lot of information for the amateur grower

A very diminutive plant and not at all as pictured. I could have picked up a similar potted plant locally for less than half the cost. Hoping this will grow to resemble the pic shown, which I thought was cool given the interesting plant stalk, but can’t imagine that happening. Sadly cannot recommend.

Never been the one to write reviews, but I felt the need to do so. I order this plant thinking that it was a good buy. Boy was I wrong!! I received the plant and it was nothing advertised or described. I tried to request my money and I am not able to do so. It clearly states 30 day money back guarantee.However, once I select the return method it directs me to the company the plant came from. Rather than the company honor the refund immediately they have you complete the refund process to inform you that someone will contact you in the next 2 business days.Just a little advise I would not waste my money on this company products ever again and would recommend you all research before you buy!The one star is because I had to select in order to get my review posted, it doesn't deserve that!!!Not very happy with this product at all!!!

Beautiful established little tree! A treasure that looks many years old, with a twin trunk. Exactly as shown and described.
