This has helped my old knee so much. I don't want a knee replacement and before I got this particular knee brace I was afraid that would be my only choice. The brace supports my knee, stays in place and is easy to use. This is the first knee brace that I have been able to use.

I wore this for one day while shopping and it did nothing to help with knee pain. My knee actually was more painful at end of day but that may not be related to item. It did nothing for pain when going downstairs, I did return it and received prompt refund.

I bought these for my dad because I’ve had great luck with them using them so far for our genetic knee problems known as “Osgood-Schlatter disease” It’s an overuse or tight muscle injury that causes pain and swelling just below the kneecap (patella) on the shinbone (tibia), specifically at the point where the patellar tendon attaches. It creates a tender bony lump at the top of shinbone. It’s said that surgery is rarely needed however everyone in my family on my dads has needed it now except me (yet). My older brother just went into surgery for this on Nov 17th (a week or so ago); he’s now 54, so i am in no way outta the woods, just yet! Needless to say, these straps work wonders on the pain relief when needed. I must have 6 pairs now. This will be my dad’s 1st pair and though he’s not a huge believer that this will help any, I can’t wait until he wears it to see himself!

I gave this three stars because it does help (when it stays in place), but it doesn’t stay in place very well. My son uses these for volleyball, and he says they really help with his knee pain! He wears them under his knee pads, so they stay put. But when he does other sports, without knee pads, they don’t stay in place. His volleyball teammate bought the exact same ones and he also complains that they don’t stay in place (he doesn’t use knee pads, so it’s a big frustration).
