Got this to catch any potential leaks in our mini fridge, and no complaints so far. It seems sturdy and there wasn't a weird smell like you sometimes get with silicone products. No crease lines either, despite being folded for shipping.

It wasn't as deep as I thought it would of been.

I don't have a mini fridge and didn't order the mat for that purpose.I have a somewhat small, rather inexpensive, vertical charcoal smoker. It had been sitting outside on my deck uncovered and exposed to the elements.After it was out in the first rain, I realized that there was a good chance that the bottoms of the legs would start to rust and stain my deck, since it was so cheap. I wanted something similar to the mat that I have under my grill, but everything was just too large.This mat is the perfect size. The silicone is thick, not flimsy. It's pretty heavy duty and I'm sure would work exceptionally well for its intended purpose.In my case, the smoker fit on it with a little room on the sides. However the raised edges, I quickly realized, would hold in the water when it rains accelerating the corrosion process. Simple solution - turn it upside down! I use it right side up when I'm cooking and flip it over when I'm done. Plus, it protects the floor when I pull it inside for the season.

This item is a nearly flat silicone floor mat with raised edges, designed to be placed underneath appliances like mini-fridges, mini-freezers, wine cabinets and the like in order to keep potential leaks from causing water damage to your floor surface.I ordered mine a couple days after receiving a new 5 cubic foot standing freezer. The freezer is not square, so it's not an ideal fit, but the mat is large enough to completely fit underneath the freezer.As I had already put items in the freezer, it was a bit of a challenge to move it onto the mat without the mat getting scrunched up underneath. The mat doesn't have any kind of segmentation that keeps it from getting wrinkled/creased if you are moving something reasonably heavy atop it. If you can, actually lift the whole device and place it down atop the mat, rather than rolling/dragging said device into place.I haven't had any issues with the freezer leaking, so I couldn't say how well the mat works at keeping liquids off the floor, but it seems as though it would be able to hold a gallon or so worth of liquid before it overflowed over the sides.

Mat is durable and provides excellent protection for overflow. The only reason it's not five stars is that it took a while to flatten out completely. Overall, a great purchase!
