Without spoilers, I will just say it simply! This storyline is powerful and leaves you feeling super connected to the main characters! I fell in love with Sayshen, Bexley, and Talon immediately! I soon jumped on the Cruz and Lena hype, and they became my FAVOURITE side couple.You guys are going to need your tissues for chapter 16! I was not ready!!! 😭 SOBBING!! Mr Shaws' first interaction with Bex then broke me further 🥺This story has me in a complete and utter choke hold. Chapter 19?? My already broken heart just broke a little more 💔 damnnnn. I love and hate it sooo so much.Talon, Talon, Talon. I loved you from the beginning, but by the end of the book, damnnnn! 😍Sayshen, you are something else! 😍 you put me through it, that's for sure! 🤣Damnnn! The Shaw Brother have my heart!🖤That ending though 😱 I need book 2 like NOW!Overall, I'd love to give this more than 5/5 stars!Nova, your writing is once again PERFECTION🖤

Medium paced MFM with a great FMC and brothers. Great spice and story

I knew this book was going to be amazing and it would 100% didn’t let me down! If I could give this more than 5 stars I would.I loved this book, absolutely devoured it. I adored Bexley, she was an incredible FMC. How she grew her confidence after the way she was treated by the POS Christian was just incredible!Sayshen and Talon I both adored and thought they were fantastic MMCs even though Talon did get on my nerves quite a bit 🙄. That being said I loved the chemistry between Bexley, Sayshen and Talon!I loved the writing in this! The author did everything perfect to make everything feel like you were in the book and involved in the story.This one is easily a favourite for me and will live rent free in my mind for a while.I honest can’t wait for book 2!!

I enjoyed this book, it wasn’t amazing but I still liked it. It felt very rushed in my opinion because after Bexley finished with her abusive boyfriend she was immediately with Sayshen and I feel like it should have made more of an impact on her character and the way she acted with the brothers. And we didn’t get enough time with the main characters for them to connect with one another. But apart from that, it was good. I liked the plot, the racing and the cliffhanger. I want to see what happens next!

Fast paced dark biker romance, with lots of drama, insights into racing life and competing, and a dark slow burn spicy romance between Bexley and the 2 Shaw brothers.This keeps you hooked with the intensity, it's an emotional journey, and does cover traumatic themes. I loved seeing all the distinctive personalities, and there's a character you'll just love to hate.Action, sassyness, found family, tension, healing and a spicy RH/sharing relationship.

My first book by this author and most anticipated read so far this year was Apex by Nova Kane and I didn’t expect it to be such a rollercoaster of emotions. This book gave me all the feels, which I enjoy in a good book.Nova’s writing is beautiful and I loved how she made you feel like you were right there in the story next to the riders both in the races and the story as it was unfolding.I enjoyed the found family trope and how they look after their own, if you hurt one you hurt them all and this was done so well throughout.Now for the MMC’s, Sayshen Shaw was everything, the way he took his time with Bexley, letting her heal and not rushing her into anything. I didn’t feel as strongly for Talon, though he did grow on me more the further I got into the book.The spicy scene’s were well written and I’m sure I’m not the only one who wanted to trade places with Bexley haha.My only complaint was that it was too short, I needed another 100 pages or so. More time for Bexley to heal after escaping her abuser and extra time for Talon and Bexley’s relationship to grow, as I felt these parts needed more time and relationship building.I would definitely recommend this book. Great plot and spicy scenes to die for and I will certainly be reading more from Nova in the future!

Y’ALL….APEX had me on the edge of my seat enitire way through! I really think this might be my top read of the year so far. It was INCREDIBLE! The Shaw brothers were HOT! I loved the dynamic of the relationship that they had with Bexley. They would burn the world down and everyone in it to protect her. Bexley was a bad@ss woman who had her fire & her light dimmed by someone who was supposed to love and care for her. And that’s where the Shaw brothers come in! The plot was spectacular, the pacing was on point, and the character development was great. The Speed Demons are a family, ride or die for each other. The way Nova wrote the Speed Demons was great. She really made me care about the team just as much as the main characters. So much so, that this is the first book that has made me cry in a long time. She did a great job of setting up the rest of the series with this book & I can’t wait for it! The spice was FANTASTIC in this one. There wasn’t a ton of spicy scenes, but when I tell you that it was some of the best written spice that I’ve read, i mean it! So when it did happen?! BABYYY!! It HAPPENED and it was HOT!!!All in all, I loved everything about this book and i will forever recommend it! You will not be disappointed!

I had been looking forward to this book for a long time. When I finally got it, it exceeded all my expectations. Nova Kane managed to draw me into the world of motorcycle racing, even though it's not my thing. The guys on Team Street Demons are so maturely described and adorable!Sayshen is very intense and has had a crush on Bexley since high school, and Talon is the perfect brooding big brother. He sees Bexley as a troublemaker who distracts his little brother from his duties to the team. But even he can't resist their attraction. The Shaw brothers are so smokin' hot.In her school days, Bexley was a confident, quick-witted and beautiful young woman from a wealthy family. When we meet her a few years later, she is a shadow of her former self. Rejected by her parents and in an abusive relationship with a despicable man, she is broken. Her only support is her best friend. When Sayshen sees her again, he cannot believe what has become of the girl he has always adored and with whom he developed an early obsession. He is determined to see her light shine again.The other guys on the team, Reign, Cruz, Draygon, Thorne, and Wolfe, are also very captivating. I can't wait to read their stories in the next books.Nova Kane took me on a highly emotional journey with Apex. I fell in love, I suffered, and I was sobbing. At one point in the book, I wasn't sure who I hated more. Christian, the absolutely detestable villain, or Nova for allowing all the evil to happen.I love this book and I highly recommend it! Nova Kane is an excellent writer. I highly recommend taking the trigger warnings seriously.

The Shaw brothers will now forever live rent free in my head!This book had me crying in public.The way Nova was able to put into words how DV victims feel was incredible. There are many feelings that are unable to be put into words but wow you did such an incredible job!My emotions were all over the place reading this book and I loved every minute of it. Thank you for taking me on this amazing emotional roller coaster and introducing me to the demons!Cannot wait for the next book!

I really liked it. I cried through some of it though. Really shot me through the heart and then kept worrying me! The ending was perfect though and the spice made up for the tears.

Okay, so for starters, I love all Of Nova Kane's books. They are all sweetly dark, and the writing and characters are always great. The smut is always smutting, and I enjoy the books greatly. I do wish though, and this is just a me thing that I could find more books with older characters, but it seems only 20 something books are happening.Now onto the story. You have Bexley, a broken young woman that pretty much has resigned herself to a life of sadness and domestic violence with her current boyfriend. She knows Sayshen from high school, where he was the biggest man-whore and she wouldn't give him the time of day. They meet again at a coffee shop years later, and things ensue. He notices her bruises and immediately sets out to right things for her and in the process claiming her. His brother Talon, never really took notice of Bexley before, sure he saw her, knew she was there and his brother had an odd obsession with her, but now he can't get her out of his head. Together these brothers take over Bexley's life and in the same way give her a reason to continue on as well as start to recover and become herself again.
