SteltonCollar Espresso Maker, 17.5 x 10.5 x 16.5 cm, Black

I bought this product because I love Scandinavian design elements and want them in my apartment. I was disappointed as soon as I opened the package. The maker came with small scratches on the exterior and the interior chambers had already started peeling. I thought I could overlook these aspects, so I tried the maker on my stove top. 1 - I love rounded bases to objects but in this instance it didn't work because the base of the maker didn't have enough contact with my burner so I had to be very careful to place it so it wouldn't tip over. 2 - to check the espresso's progress I went to pick up the lid, and I immediately had to throw it down because it was HOT. This is object looks great, but needs some work. I'm returning it because it isn't as practical as your standard Moka pot, and not worth $85.

top lid gets very got I burned my fingers. The very bottom part got uneven after 5th use. Stay away

The quality of this product is very poor. We've only used a few times and the coating started peeling off, both on the inside and the outside. On top of this it's difficult and expensive to ship back( $ 24). I am requesting a refund.

Pretty to look at, but coating inside water reservoir has started flaking off after just 3 uses. Poor quality.

Nach ca. 4 Wochen und wirklich nur wenigem Benutzen hat sich jetzt die Beschichtung innen gelöst.Sieht toll aus, funktioniert für mich jedoch gar nicht. Schade.

Ich kann mich leider nur den anderen Rezensionen anschließen. Wunderschöne Kanne. Einzig der Deckel ist unpraktisch, da lose aufliegt und man ihn beim gießen festhalten muss.Das richtige Problem ist aber, dass die Beschichtung aussen abplatzt. Dabei entwickelt sich ein beißender Plastikgestank. Später haben wir festgestellt, dass sich auch innen die Farbe löst, die man dann mittrinkt. Wenn man mit dem Finger im Unterteil innen entlangfährt, hat man eine schwarze Fingerkuppe.Gesund war das vermutlich nicht. Hat leider ein bißchen gedauert, bis wir das Problem lokalisieren konnten.

Super Design. Das war es aber schon. 1.Zubereitung. Kaffee schmeckt nach Teflonbeschichtung. Dies auch nach mehrmaliger Benutzung, bis ich den Wasserkübel sanft auskochen und das Wasser verdunsten ließ.Nicht Induktionsgeeignet. War bekannt aber warum ändert man das nicht?Letztlich bröselte die Teflonbeschichtung ab. Innen wie außen. Das kann nur gesundheitsschädlich sein. Warum nimmt man keine andere Beschichtung. Ich denke heutzutage gibt es etliche Möglichkeiten, schwarz zu beschichten.Tolles Design absolut schlecht umgesetzt und deshalb viel zu teuer im Preis. Hatte keine Woche Freude daran.

Ich bin großer Stelton Fan und habe diese Espressokanne geliebt. Aber es bringt leider nichts, die Beschichtung löst sich immer mehr. Ich nehme an, dass das giftig ist.Das Design ist aber top :)
