Use it to contact Batman
Probably the brightest torch I've ever had. It's quite a weighty thing so gives the impression of quality. It should fit in your front jeans pocket too ( only just) but will give a big bulge to impress the girls (or boys). Being rechargeable too it a plus since no need to buy batteries.

Dispelling the darkness.
A good sturdy torch, has a decent weight and is not too heavy complete with a very, very wide and narrow beam that will remove the darkness wherever it pointed. Three mode of use, the 1st will last a few hours at most and cand get a little warm, 2nd between 5 to 7 hours plus but I didn't have it on constantly throughout those hours.(Using it on the highest beam for long periods may cause the torch to become quite warm never quite getting to the too hot to touch but still be careful.) I used it for 10 -14 mins x 2 per hour while patrolling. And the third SOS mode which I have not really used. It's charge time is between 5 to 8 hours charging time once the battery has completely died.

Nice and bright
Brought this mainly for a 2.5 long tunnel near me and wanted a very bright torch (something much more substantial than my phone light). This did not disappoint, it is very bright and extremely useful in pitch black places. You can adjust the light width by using the front slide cylinder. With it all the way pushed in, it will light pretty much the whole area in front of you. As you pull the cylinder outwards, the light will become more focused, until it's all the way out when it turns into a spotlight that seems to go at least 1/4 of a mile. I went through a canal tunnel near me and took about 1 hour to walk through, and it only used 1 of the 4 bars of battery, so it seems to last for quite a while. Something I didn't realise when I received it is that the torch itself can be used as a battery charger for other things. It has a standard USB socket so you can charge your phone off it for example. The construction of it is very solid, all metal, and has a solid weight to it, all the more reassuring if you are somewhere pitch black in the dead of night, if you get my meaning. It has 3 settings, on full blast, about 60% dimmer brightness, and a flashing mode. You can get brighter ones than this, but if you are looking for a torch for night time walking, dark places, security rounds, power cuts, then this is more than enough.

Good but basic bright torch
Good basic but very bright torch. The torch arrived fully charged (all 4 blue charger lights on) and produced a very bright light which can be varied between wide angle and spot. The spot has a very long range - perhaps 500 metres. I deliberately left in on with the bright setting to see now light output varied. After an hour it became noticeably dimmer and then continued to reduce output until it went out after 2.5 hours. I then recharged it. It took 6 hours to charge using a 100w charger which was running at 7w output. Much of the time it didn’t seem to be charging at all - the 4 blue lights came on at irregular intervals. All 4 are now on again and torch is working well. The security flashing mode has a low frequency and I suspect would do little to frighten an attacker. The bottom line is this is a basic bright torch which serves its purpose. At £22 it is good value for money - assuming that it does not breakdown as described by some purchasers!

Brilliant torch
Great torch - I use this when I walk my dogs at night, across fields and woods where there is no artificial light at all and it is fantastic, incredibly bright, on wide beam it lights up a big area and I can see in front of me like its daylight. When you put it tunnel mode the beam goes for the longest distance I've seen in a torch - its great for looking at nighttime wildlife as it does a great job reflecting off the eyes of rabbits and dear, I've even seen a few badgers. Its sturdy, i've dropped it a couple of times and it's been fine. Its also chunky and decently heavy that you'd be happy to use it if needed for self defence - hopefully not. For the price, this is outstanding.

Dies suddenly
This could be a brilliant torch if it didn't die so suddenly It has 4 little lights that tell you how much power you have 4 lights being fully charged. 1 light should be 25% and under but torch died at 2 lights now doing it at 3. I was out with dog alone somewhere dark and torch just died. This left me unable to see where I was walking so could have got injured and extremely vulnerable being unable to see if anyone around. I will see if I can get hold of seller and if they offer help or replacement I will keep trying torch as could be faulty 1 but Amazon no longer make it easy to contact sellers
