I was thrilled the moment I pulled them from the box! The lamps arrived on time and were packed very securely. The various shades of blue and teal along with the mosaic texture add pizzazz to my room. When I sent a photo of my newly decorated great room, my daughter's first comment was, "I wish I could find lamps that make a statement like that!"

The pair was shipped in 2 very large boxes. I unpacked the first lamp to check color, glaze and fit in our space. The lamp is highly glossy and the colors are intense, fairly bright blue/green...unlike the photo I was seeing of softer blue/greens, and not really what I could use, though very pretty. Lamp was packed perfectly, and required no "assembly" other than to attach the harp and shade..However, once the lamp was plugged in to test, I discovered the switch was not able to keep the lamp on without a good bit of "jiggling"....the interior mechanism in the socket/switch was either loose or flawed. So they had to be returned.It's important to note that this lamp was sold on Amazon through the LampsPlus store. On this particular lamp set....LampsPlus was providing free returns as a special promotion on their website. (not through AmazonPrime). So the returns were handled by Lamps Plus, and though they were helpful after a few calls, the result is that though the return has/was approved by Lampsplus and Amazon, it's been 8 days since they received the returned lamps, but my account still has not been credited in my account, with a promise from LampsPlus of another 2-3 days before I'm credited.I mention this only in that I was not accustomed to a return from a third party vendor, quite different from when an Amazon purchase/return is credited almost immediately with Amazon's 'free returns" offers. Something to consider if this might affect your purchase, and also that free returns are not the norm with Lamps Plus.....so if a return is necessary for larger boxed lamps, the cost of returns could be quite high.
