Amazon Fresh, Blackeye Peas Whole, 16 Oz (Pack of 5)

Not so easy to find dried black eyed peas at a reasonable price anymore. These are fine alone, it in a multi-bean soup.Remembering to put them in water the night before will make your whole life easier.I stock up on beans and rice just in case we get into another difficult situation ( like Covid). Beans cost less then meat and are a good source of protein & fiber, and can be extremely tasty!

I was surprised that the flavor was so good. When you can't get fresh black eyed peas or you're tired? These dried are quite good! Will buy more for sure.

I love dried beans and this is a great price

We had this with hictory smoke ham cut in pieces and it taste great! The beans were fresh and smell nice. It creates days of eating and we are happy with buying these here on Amazon.

All in all, very good. A couple dozen peas were near black, easily noticed during first rinse, and got tossed. Maybe I'm being too picky but I was not going to mess with those.The rest cooked up fine, tasted great, and went perfectly with chunks of ham and onion, salt and pepper. Delicious and good value for money! Will buy again.
