Made for adventure and reimagined with elevated features, the Field Automatic is a double threat that balances its rugged functionality with timeless sophistication. Have a field day with a 100 meter water rating, ultra-resistant K1 glass, and durable ballistic nylon strap. Review: I work a tough job and I’m someone who can become burdened by retrieving my phone every time I need to know the time/date. When I decided to purchase this watch, I had low expectations based upon the MVMT brand and their controversial past. The specifications were almost exactly what I sought for an everyday(mostly at work) watch. The luminescence is great. The water resistance rating is 10 ATM, which covers just about everything I’ll ever put it through. I’ve worn it for three months almost nonstop, occasionally, I’ll switch it up, but I often find myself missing it. The coating has held up well, the glass hasn’t scratched or cracked. I love that it has screw-down crown. It helps reassure me when it’s submerged or that it doesn’t accidentally pull-out. My favourite feature is the display. The arrowhead sweeping secondhand and readability is excellent. MVMT’s minimalism suits this field watch. The aforementioned lume outshines most of my other watches (Luminox, Movado, Seiko). The only watch in my collection that it can’t beat at night is my Momentum, although this watch is an automatic, it keeps time just fine. I am thoroughly impressed with this watch, but if I were to change a few features, firstly, I would add an anti-reflective crystal(possibly mineral with a sapphire coating). Secondly, the watch may be slightly too large, it’s very effective, however, the case can borderline on clunky in some circumstances. Third, well, MVMT should have been proud enough to emblazon the rotor with their trademark. Since it has an exhibition case back, it’s a little disappointing to see the generic movement. I believe MVMT should be proud of this watch, why not show it a little bit? The band is cromulent and I have no plans on changing it until it’s toast. So far, it’s holding up well. If you’re looking for something like a Hamilton or a Shinola and don’t want to put a pricier watch through hell, but still want some style, this is the watch. I was impressed with it enough to buy the quartz version, which is a far cry from the automatic. Don’t waste your time on MVMT’s other offerings, buy this watch. Review: Decent looking watch if it worked well. Have to adjust the day and date almost every other day. Junkkkk, third watch from MVMT I bought and I should of known better. The point of an automatic watch is to be reliable and not need a battery, this thing is far from reliable.

First gripe is the band, can we normalize sending additional bands that are longer? My thinking on it is, 1 we are not all the same size 2 a "field" watch implies being used out doors, where people wear gloves, or hey they have to move the watch up their arm a little. How you gonna do that when youre on the last hole in the band at your wrists skinniest? So I replaced the band right away. I did brush a door with it and it has its first scratch on the edge of the glass, but so far I have no major issues with the watch itself.

When I first bought this watch, it worked great I’ve had it less than a year now. If it is idle for more than six hours it dies and you have to reset it.

The crown on my watch would not pull out and because of this malfunction I could not set the time, day and date. Customer support was not helpful, and so I returned the watch for a refund.
