Really happy with this cocktail shaker set. Everything feels well made and works smoothly together. The Boston shaker seals well, the strainer does its job perfectly, and the jigger is accurate. I bought this and their other items individually (Hawthorne strainer, Japanese Jigger, bar spoons, and dasher bottles), but later saw they sell them all in a bundle, though it looks like there currently isn't a "discount" for doing so. Anyway, it sure is Boston Shaker, not too much to say. Solid, gets VERY cold on your hands when filled with ice, and seals perfectly. I've already made many drinks with it and the seal has only broken the 1 time I dropped it when trying to flip it in a cool way, lol.

I've used cheap shakers, jiggers, and strainers for years but since I've gotten into making tiki cocktails, I decided to up my game with a nice shaker set. The jigger is awesome and I really appreciate the volume marks on the inside. They help immensely and ensure that I get my proportions right. As for the shakers, they work as expected but they look so damn clean and professional. The strainer is impressive. Most cheap strainers have only a few coils and don't trap small bits of material, but this strainer's coil is like a slinky. It'll strain even the smallest chips of ice and detritus. All in all, this is a high quality product. Highly recommended!

Despite its simplicity, this boston shaker is far superior to the last one I used. Granted, I am new to the cocktail scene, but from the very first time I used this product, it became clear that you really do need the right tools for the right job, and this was the right tool. If you're new to cocktails, and entertaining guests like me, you can't go wrong with this setup. On top of that, the folks at Top Shelf do a good job of providing a personal feeling to thier service, as well as promt processing and shipping. I even ordered a bar spoon set from them shortly after receiving the shaker. For the price, quality, and service, I don't think you could go wrong with this one. Pros: Durable stainless steel, Intuitive design for the filter, directions provided for newbie plebs like me, and great quality for the price. Cons: I live in an apartment with paper-thin walls. No one has issued any noise complaints yet, but shaking cocktails in this, or any other shaker for that matter isn't exactly covert ops.

Been using these tins to replace my old barfly sets. They feel fantastic after a while. Cocktails shakers are like shoes where you gotta break into them. They're still standing strong after 3 month of heavy use with a really good weight distribution, good looking finish and are pretty easy to open. At that price point they are by far the best on the market right now.
