Autovir Windshield Sun Shade, Foldable Car Window Shades, 280T Visor Shade

I bought this foldable sun shade for my pickup and it’s one of the best simple upgrades I’ve made. It fits the windshield perfectly, blocks the sun really well, and folds down compact enough to store behind the seat or in the door pocket without taking up much space. Installation is quick—just open it, place it against the glass, and the built-in supports hold it firmly in place. No sliding or gaps on the edges. On hot summer days it makes a noticeable difference: the steering wheel and dashboard stay much cooler, and the overall cabin temperature drops significantly once the shade is up. The reflective material does a solid job of bouncing heat away while still looking clean from the outside. The fabric feels durable and the folding mechanism is sturdy, so it holds its shape after repeated use. It’s lightweight, easy to handle with one hand, and doesn’t leave any marks or residue on the glass. Highly recommended if you want an affordable, effective way to protect your truck’s interior and stay more comfortable in the heat.

This car shade looks nice and exceeded my expectations! The adjustable Velcro the sun visor fits any size rear view mirror. The fit is perfect, and it provides excellent coverage for my windshield. It keeps my car noticeably cooler—up to 10 degrees cooler—even in the intense Texas heat. It’s durable, easy to install, and folds away easily when not in use wit its own carrying bag. Definitely worth the purchase, and I highly recommend it.

This sun shade came super quick. The sunshade is very thin but does a good job of blocking the sun and keeping the dash cooler. It does what it’s supposed to do, I have no complaints about how it fits and blocks the sun. My only complaint is trying to store it back up. I know it’s probably some trick that I’m not doing correctly but I have a hard time getting it back in the storage bag. I’m able to get it to fold back in half but not to the size it came for the storage bag. As far as using it, it’s easy to use and appearance is nice. Seems to be of good quality. I’ve only used it for a couple of days, so don’t know how well longevity will be. Four star rating was because of me not being able to fold it back up like it originally came. That could be on me, I’m still trying to learn how.

Super pleased with this auto windshield shade. I have had many different types over the years, and this is my all-time fave. It is super easy to place on the inside of windshield and easy to fold up into the circular pattern for storage. It fits perfectly on my 2020 Mazda 6, the side and corner panels ensure extreme coverage, and I truly believes that it reduces the heat/temp inside my car. Great quality at a super low price. I just love it and have another in my cart to have as a backup. Highly recommend!

It's not as flat as the pic seems, but it does a great job covering the windshield and helping to keep our SUV cooler during the hot summer days when we have to leave it out. It's also very easy to fold up and store under a seat when we're not using it which is nice as most sun shade's are large and awkward. This is a great alternative to those. also the inside fabric doesn't get as hot as the exposed so when I do need to fold it up, it doesn't burn my hands in the process. Overall, it does the job and feels like a good value for the quality and purpose.

Fits perfectly and is easy to quickly put up and take down. Packs away into the stuff pouch easily and takes up little space between used. Makes a BIG difference in the heat inside when I get to my car even sitting in full direct sun with 100 degree heat index. This is my best most functional beneficial purchase of the summer. SO glad I have this. Worth the extra to have the snug fit which makes it more effective than all others I have tried like the accordion folding one size fits all types. This one is custom exactly to the model of my car and leaves no gaps. Really helps to be able to quickly and easily put it up and take it down. High quality durable material.

The item arrived on time. It sends to do its job, my vehicle doesn’t feel like a super heated oven anymore. Quality wise, I think there is room for improvement as I can see the sun through the stitching in the fabric. The foldable is a nice feature, and it comes with a bag for easy storage. It’s easy to use though, just remove the elastic strap and it pops open and is ready for use. Fills my windshield from side to side so there is no gaps for the sun to sneak past. The cons that I noted are the fabric feels much too thin, which makes me wonder how long it will last, and with the holes from where the fabric was sewn is another contributing factor to that concern. But time will tell. So far so good.

This is a great sunshade option for the FJ! The material feels decent and blocks the sun really well. The shade shape has a curve to it when laid out flat, so there’s only one way to put it in the window properly. One thing to mention is the directions on the packaging state there’s a Velcro tab to go around the mirror. There is NOT. Additionally, some custom sunshades have the bendable wires really fill out the frame of the windows and help to hold the shades in place. With this sunshade, the wired areas are much smaller than the window edges and you do need to use the sun visors to keep it in place. I have had all different kinds of sunshades in different cars, and this one will work just fine for the short, long windshield of the FJ Cruiser. It does come with a little cover to put it in when not in use. All in all, this shade does the e job and fits well!

Fits perfectly and seems like great quality so far. Fits my 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander. I have a black one, so it gets ridiculously hot. This makes it actually bearable to get into on hot days.

Does the job, but pain in the ass to put up. Sometimes the circles dont cooperate D
