IF you know a Dan TDM , or Minecraft fan then this is the perfect gift! It just came out in October of 2016, and was highly publicized by Dan TDM in his YouTube Minecraft videos. This is the Official Dan TDM book. Fans have loved it! It is his first Official book. If they don't have it already they should! For the uninitiated - Dan TDM is a highly popular Minecraft player who publicizes his game playing sessions on YouTube, and has been wildly popular. I live with fans, I have to admit I don't get the whole watching someone else play a videogame as a fun pastime, but I guess for gamers it is the same as watching football players, basketball players, or chess players play their sports. That beign said Dan TDM is a Babe Ruth of sorts in the Minecraft world. Don't let your fan go without! Everybody is already talking about it! We ordered our fans one right away, and all of our boy's (elementary school, middle school, and college student) read it - including our "resistant" reader the 8 year old! He actually WANTS to read this book, which has been great news for us! In the world of official, and unofficial Minecraft books it is hard for the non-player to discriminate between bad, & great Minecraft books. This book is straightforward published by Dan TDM, and makes a great pick for gift giving, or keeping if you are the Minecraft / Dan TDM fan! We would not hesitate to buy it for another Minecraft / Dan TDM fan from Amazon knowing it could at the very least be returned/ exchange without any problems using a gift recipient to buy any Minecraft book they don't already have, so we see this book as a No Brainer, No Risk Purchase! Absolutely you should grab them a copy, it's a must have for Minecraft / Dan TDM fans alike! We DO recommend for Dan TDM, and Minecraft fans alike! Hope our review helped!

I was really surprised I was still able to find one of these. I had just recently got back into watching TheDiamondMinecart (DanTDM) last year, I used to watch his videos so much as a child and I'm happy to not only reconnect with my past but also obtain this amazing graphic novel. I absolutely love the story of Dan and Trayaurus finding the magic crystals, also Grimm and the talking pigs are adorable.

My three boys follow DanTDM on YouTube. As a parent, I appreciate that he keeps it clean, funny and witty. His book carries many of the same attributes, at least according to my six-year old. After watching DanTDM for a few months, we finally got him the book he was asking for. While it's not exactly a difficult read, this comic novel was certainly engaging. My son sat down with it for hours and has read it numerous times. My older sons (9 & 11) have even picked it up and read through it. If you're looking for a fun and safe gift for a kid that likes gaming, this is a great place to start!

My seven year old has been reading this all week. Frankly, I'm exhausted with it. "So, Dad....Did you know that Trayaurus...." Haha Pictures are nice, story seems well done. Kind of what you would expect from a comic based on a YouTuber.

Our 7 and 8 year grandchildren are addicted to Dan TDM..........so this was the perfect Christmas gift for them. The way the book is written, they can read little facts here and there and then put it down, not long chapters which keeps them interested. Nice hardbound book, quality paper and pictures. Worth the cost!

My Son has been so excited about this book since Dan revealed it. We pre-ordered it for his birthday. He thought it wasn't going to come for 5 more days and has been counting down the days. It came early so I was able to surprise him with it when he came home from school. He was so happy. He read it for over an hour and he's a 1st grader. It's a beautiful hard cover copy with a sleeve on it. Its in comic book style which was surprising, but awesome.My son hung the sleeve up in his room.We are Super happy. Dantdm is such a great role model. My husband and I even watch his videos with the kids And I'm going to get him the activity book as well.

I loved it because it has a nice feel to it (apart from the cringy parts). I loved the way the script was written and the characters were drawn. I think that every DanTDM fan should give this book a try. I love DanTDM and his videos so I want to thank him for everything he does and did. I also want to thank the other people that helped Dan when creating this book. I think they should be proud of what they accomplished. If your reading this, please try out the book. It is amazing. If DanTDM is reading this, I a and so many other people around the world love you and what you do every day, so you should be proud. I just received the book in the mail today and I must say the quality of the materials used in the manufacture of said book are first rate. From the dust cover look and feel to the art of the cover being reproduced on the front cover of the book all make me feel the price of the book was worth the expenditure. So my 7 year old and I cracked open the book and began to read an interesting story set in the minecraft world from the imagination of DanTDM. I stopped him after we had read about one chapters worth to tap out this review, this book does what I, as a parent, wanted it to do, it has the two of us reading together, enjoy!!!

i thought it would be like the odd1sout book bot no no it like the best book ever!!!so plz.it would be it be great to get this book! this is how i think.of this book good,adventures,suprising,funny and great and that's it.

My 6 year old thought this was fantastic. He has read it several times, as has his 4 year old brother. They liked all the pictures in it to. It's a decent size and definitely worth the money.

This book is really delightful. Dan and Trayaurus must find a way to defeat their nemsis, Denton, and destroy a magical crystal. They get help from a talking pig and Dan's loyal dog, Grim. The story is actually quite clever and engaging, and held my son's attention. He speed through it, completing easily during his free reading time at school The book is a fully illustrated manga-style comic. The reading level is fairly low (e.g. no difficult words or complicated sentence structures), and there is only some very minor violence (characters fade away after crystal is destroyed). Although aimed at ages 8 - 12, younger readers who are keen or love Minecraft could manage this book quite easily. Overall, both my son and I enjoyed this book. Honestly, I wasn't expecting too much from it. But, DanTDM managed to create something quite entertaining, and we are both looking forward to a sequel.

I love the plot and myself I love dantdm so this book was just awesome because it is too hilarious
