Q: No where in the description does it say stainless steel. Is it stainless? I keg cider, if this is plated it will flake like my faucet...

Definitely not plated, could be aluminum, not 100% sure

The lid is stainless steel. The valve is plastic and rubber. It is my best purchase after the keg.
