Quiet and convenient
The rotation of this fan means it can be positioned at a plug but angled in any direction. The handy remote mens you don't have to be close to it to change settings. Its powerful but quiet plus it looks stylish too.

Best purchase of the summer
I needed a fan to get me through the uncomfortably hot and humid summer we've had recently, and this did the job brilliantly. Very quiet and effectively circulated the air even on the hottest days. My sleep has greatly improved in quality since using this on the lowest setting and on an 8h timer. The low running costs make this even better, and the wood effect matches my decor well.

Good quality but expensive fan
The media could not be loaded. The MYCARBON Quiet Fan Cooling Desk Fan is a decent fan, but at £99.99, it does feel a bit overpriced. It’s a well-made unit with some great features, but there are a few areas where it falls short. The fan has an interesting aesthetic with its wood-grain design, which looks quite unique and adds a nice touch to any room. However, the white plastic parts were slightly off-colour straight out of the box, which was disappointing. They looked more beige than the crisp white shown in the product images. This doesn't affect the functionality, but it does detract from the overall look.Performance-wise, the fan is impressive. It operates quietly, even at higher speeds, which is fantastic for nighttime use. The 3D oscillation is a great feature, allowing the fan to circulate air more effectively throughout the room. The remote control works well and adds convenience, especially when you’re relaxing on the sofa or in bed.One thing I particularly like is the range of speeds and modes. The eight-speed settings provide a lot of flexibility, and the ECO mode is a nice touch, adjusting the speed based on the room’s temperature. The sleep mode, which gradually reduces the speed, is also a thoughtful addition for nighttime use. However, the price tag is quite steep. While the fan is good, it’s hard to justify the cost when compared to other models on the market. The build quality is solid, and it does its job well, but it feels more like a £60 fan rather than one costing nearly £100.Pros:- 😊 Quiet operation, perfect for nighttime use- 😊 Unique wood-grain design- 😊 Effective 3D oscillation- 😊 Convenient remote control- 😊 Variety of speeds and modesCons:- 😕 Expensive at £99.99- 😕 White plastic parts look slightly off-colourOverall, the MYCARBON Quiet Fan is a good fan with some excellent features, but the high price makes it a tough sell. If you can find it on sale, it might be worth picking up, but at full price, it feels a bit too expensive for what you get.

Best fan ever!
Love this fan - on sleep mode it is so quiet but still cools the room. Setting 8 is so powerful and obviously more noisy but the cooling effect is worth the noise!Love the style white with wood - wouldnt look out of place in any room. Romote control a real bonus. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Very nice fan - wood effect is plastic, not wood - rather expensive
This fan is quite a large item, particularly front to back. It is mostly made of cream-coloured plastic; the wood-effect parts are also plastic, presumably for lightness. I can’t decide whether I like them or not - they do look a bit plasticky from close up, although much more attractive from a distance. When first switched on, it shows the ambient temperature. This then disappears to be replaced by the fan setting. The lowest setting is fairly gentle; it’s quiet, but not silent. The highest setting is probably what you’d want for across the room, not sitting on your desk. The remote works well, and is useful if you want the fan to be outside arm’s reach.I don’t sleep with a fan, so the sleep mode (decreases by one setting at intervals, until it reaches 1) or timer (fan stops after between 1 and 8 hours) are not likely to be much use to me, although I can see they would be useful to others. They do seem to work. ECO reduces the fan setting when the temperature drops by 2 degrees, so is potentially more useful to me.All in all, this is a really nice fan, with multiple luxury features that might be very important to some. Is it worth £99? Not to me (but then I am also the person who will make a hand-fan from folded scrap paper).
