I have two helmets. One had worn-out pads. These extended its life and took about five minutes to install. Thick cushioning, good adhesion.

These are a great way to get a little cushioning and better fit to your helmet. The foam in a helmet is rather hard. A few helmets add a decent layer of padding to cushion the head but a lot, like the Giro Synthe, do not. A layer of this tuff placed well and you are in business. I took one star off because the foam is actually not really dense enough to really and honestly be a big cushioning help. I am not saying it should be like hard rubber, but a bit more dense would work much better.

What more can you say than the title of this review. Plenty of pieces offer lots of flexibility in making your helmet feel like new again. Easy to work with and install. I have so many spare pieces, I will probably never need to order again. But, If I do, I will not hesitate. Great product and, by the way, my helmet never felt as comfortable as it does now with some new and added padding.

I bought two of these kits to restore two old bicycle helmets. The original foam pads had completely decomposed, but both helmets were otherwise in great condition. Despite the fact that our two helmets had two completely different physical liner configurations, I was quickly and easily able to identify a complement of suitable pads from these kits and repair both of them. Of note was that both my wife and I subsequently found them to fit each of us at least as comfortably as they had when we'd originally purchased them years ago, and I've not observed any of the pads I installed over 5 months ago coming loose from either of the helmet liners.

The product was very quick to arrive, and included all the elements described in the listing. However, there is negligible packaging and zero instructions and/or guidance on usage or treatment. Understood that they are just pads to be fit inside a bike helmet, but I wouldn't complain if there were some pictures or description of recommended use. Basically, it's a clear plastic bag of velcro strips. And that's it. It also assumes that the hard part of the velcro is already in place inside the helmet. If you have that in place then you are ok, but if you need both parts of the velcro then you'll need more than what is included here. This is only the soft side that provides the padding.

Works great to replace your bike helmet padding that has flattened out. Easy to customize the foam pads for a perfect fit and there are plenty in the package to do whatever you need to do to fix your helmet padding.

The last of the foam pads that came with my helmet ran out & the last ones were deteriorating. I had no idea that replacement kits even existed. There was nothing at local stores. A search on Amazon located this kit. It was more expensive than other kits, but came with SuperSaver free shipping and that made it a great buy. There is a good selection of shapes & sizes of the foam pads & some Velcro dots too. The kit is truly universal. I shipped my helmet from UK and now it is as good as new. It saves buying a new one & I have plenty of extra foam pads to spare.
