The Criminal Law Handbook: Know Your Rights, Survive the System

Easy read and in plain English so I could understand what I was reading. Basic answers though

I am currently taking a course in criminal litigation as part of my college's paralegal program. While the textbook in the course is acceptable, I wish "The Criminal Law Handbook" had been chosen instead. I think the handbook is much more concise and covers what I actually will need to know if I enter the criminal law area. The text for my course goes into a lot of case law that would be useful to attorneys but not so much for paralegals.

It is practically useful. I gain substantial knowledge about criminal law from this book. I checked out the green version from the local library for a few months, then decide to purchase one copy of this new version for myself.

This is a absolute must have book if you want to know what goes on behind every aspect of law enforcement/DA's charging until the end of trial, especially if its you or your family members found to be on the wrong side of the badge.

Just what I was looking for

Excellent handbook which provides a brief outline on the criminal justice system. Easy to follow and understand.
