Looks great. Adds some style to my bedroom - I put it above the headboard. Easy to use. Syncs well with Alexa. I have a few Lifx products. This one was the most difficult to set-up. It took several attempts and some troubleshooting to get it connected to my wifi. But it's worth the 30 minutes of pain!

When they work they are gorgeous but they are not worth the pain.Setting up is painstaking... they just fail and fail and fail and then work. You will honestly have to reset them to factory default numerous times before they eventually set.That's not the end of it... they are ridiculously unreliable to the point where they become useless and the only way you can turn them on and off is by buying a smart plug.Honestly... if you want to own a gorgeous product that guarantees frustration to the point where you will always regret buying the damn thing then buy this now! I guarantee you'll regret it!

I love how easy they are to set up and they are super bright and colour accurate too. The white is actually white and not blue like some led lights. Amazing lights.

I find the connection and set up a little temperamental.I've had to 'hard reset' it a lot and sometimes have to unplug and replug it to kick it into action. I've tried all different Wi-Fi bands and followed all suggested solutions to try and keep it working without having to do this. It doesn't seem as intuitive as some of the nanoleaf products but the look of this one is very different and it gives off a really spectacular colour display.Nanoleaf also have their own problems and I don't like how they release so many products and stop developing and supporting their older models so this is a fair alternative and cheaper than theirs too.Once set up the app is very quick and easy to use and it gives a lot of different options.

These are awesome. Look great and relatively easy to set up. I didnt have many issues setting them up, they stick together by magnets and mount on the wall using reusable stick pads. The app can be a bit tricky but just remember to unplug the power and plug it back in to reset the unit.

My LIFX Beam Kit arrived today and I'm glad that I assembled the kit on the floor and tested it before sticking the lights onto my wall. This is my first LIFX product and it might have been bad luck but one of the light beams failed to work due to a manufacturing fault. One of the connectors is misaligned (see attached photo - gold pin on far right) and fails to make an electrical connection.These lights are expensive and I am disappointed with the quality of these lights. The remaining light beams work and look fantastic so against my better judgement, I have ordered a replacement kit from Amazon (arriving tomorrow) rather than a refund.

The ambience on this light is beautiful. Better than expected and I ended up buying 2x. If there is ideal mood light or anything for setting ambience I recommend this.It would be better if LIFX would allow to extend the bars by adding 1 or 2 more for a bit of extra stretch

This light looks great when you can get it working but that’s about the only positive. I ordered 2 units one of which was defective out of the box, the other worked somewhat okay.The light is let down by poor quality control and a very clunky app, I have bought lights for half the price with better included software.To set this unit up one has to line the flimsy connectors up perfectly otherwise the magnetic contacts disconnect and render the light useless. My light that arrived faulty has dead leds in one bar that either flicker random colours or stay off.If you can get over the hour long setup process you then have to spend an age fiddling with the included software. I could not get either light to connect multiple times, the connection test would always fail half way and error. Even when the lights finally paired setting colours would not always work after an app reset. Ignoring all this when you finally get the colour/mood effect you want, once you turn the lights off for the night they forget what colour you set them to once turning back on.So in conclusion, would I recommend this light? The answer is no, not as it currently stands. I can’t fault the actual lighting if it worked, they are absolutely stunning once setup and running. This issue being getting to that stage and keeping them there. My other concern is the longevity of the lights, since one of my units is already faulty.

. Licht is erg mooi maar op helderse stand beginnen de kleuren een beetje af te wijken. Hij is echt heel fel dus ik zal hem nooit op zen helders houden tenzij ik ergens aan moet werken. Als je hem moet resetten hou de knop dan 5 sec ingedrukt in plaats van 5 keer snel aan en uit zoals op de beschrijving staat.Veel slechte reviews over de app gelezen. Bij mij werkt alles snel . Ik heb een samsung s10+

Je suis très satisfaite de mon achat, le rendu des LIFX Beam est magnifique. La lumière est puissante et les dégradés de couleurs sont très beaux, les couleurs se mélangent bien entre elles. L'application est plutôt simple d'utilisation, c'est bien compatible IFTTT ce qui permet de faire énormément de personnalisation. Attention cependant aux ventes reconditionnées, j'en ai acheté 2 boîtes aucune des deux ne fonctionnaient (pièces manquantes ou Beam non reconnu par l'application).

These lights are amazing. Ive set it up under my tv unit but was originally going to install it above my bathroom mirror.

Ma LIFX Beam ne fonctionne plus au bout de 2 mois seulement c'est une honte au début tout marchais bien et maintenant impossible de la détecter, impossible de la re appairer produit a fuir.

I really like the Beam (and we have a couple of other Lifx lights) but their ongoing changes of ownership and financial woes means I'll steer clear of adding any more of their products to our house.With the Beam in particular, they stopped selling individual pieces (bars or corner pieces) so if any part stops working you're out of luck.The app is also very unreliable (Android, can't speak for iOS) and the only advice from their support has been to "uninstall and reinstall". Luckily the Alexa integration seems to work more reliably!
