I got this mainly to shred cheese but have used every slicer and they are all fast and easy to clean. You can have sliced cucumber or a cup of cheese in seconds. I use this all the time and wish I had found it years ago. 1000/10 recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Who knew my trusty KitchenAid was hiding a secret talent? I've been a loyal user for years, but this attachment has totally leveled up my kitchen game. Shredding 8 blocks of cheese for Thanksgiving was a breeze! It was so easy to set up and so much faster than doing it by hand. Plus, my kids had a blast helping out. I'm officially keeping my mixer on the counter now, and I can't wait to explore all the other things this attachment can do. If you're tired of buying new gadgets, give this a shot. You won't regret it!

Overall this attachment feels fairly well built and it's nice to have some additional functionality out of our KitchenAid mixer. The attachments are easy to swap out, and so far have been working well for various tasks. One thing I've noticed about the KitchenAid Mixer attachments is that they're up a bit high, so unless you have taller bowls or something to place them on top of, things can tend to get a little messy...and with this particular one, sometimes being horizontal can keep things from falling out of the cutting blades...but just a minor issue. I do like the added functionality these bring, as well as being fairly compact since the mixer provides all the power.

These attachments are so easy to use, to clean and do a fabulous job grating/slicing. The best thing is they are so quiet! Love them! Should have purchased ages ago.

I just received my shredder and I hooked it up and shredded about 6 cups of cheese. This will make my life a lot easier because I prefer fresh shredded cheese over bagged processed cheese. It was so easy to hook up and so easy to use

Fast service and great product

I purchased these attachments for my daughter. She just tried it out and is very pleased with the time saved while shredding zucchini from the garden. Works well with her kitchen aid mixer.
