The carry handle does not conch up and hurt your hand while picking it up especially with heavy stuff inside. It's actually padded like an inch thick of stuff inside to prevent hurting your hand and to prevent it from being too flexible. The size is perfect and it's very well made the color is even better in person as well and the black drawcord really pops on this style. The straps on the shoulders are a little stiff but I think it is just because it's new. The price was unbeatable (49 dollars plus tax ) especially since you can tell by the quality it will last for several year even with a middle school boy.
