Great value and actually works! Do you have a teen gamer in your house that loves to yell at his game with his buddies when you are trying to relax and watch TV in the main room? Do the hollow doors or thin walls mean that you have to hear the constant hollers of "lay off me bro, you totally used a cheat!!" or "I'm gonna skibidi you into next week man!" ?? Does your middle age mind wonder why on earth they need to yell so loud using words that make no sense to you? Welcome to the fun life of parenting a teen gamer. Our house has terrible accoustics; whether its the laminate floors, cheap hollow doors, high ceiling in the main room, or just bad luck...I really don't know. But I am sound sensitive and my teen son yelling at his friends with his headphones on was driving me bananas. I didnt want to be a mean parent just cause Im sensitive to noise but I had to figure out a way to muffle the sound. This was a random hail mary purchase that helped alot!!! I purchased these not knowing if it would work or help at all. And we basically just put them all over the back of his door as we figuredthat was the weakest spot soundwise. I noticed the difference immediately!!! We can still hear him, but it no longer sounds like he's sitting right next to me yelling . I want to purchase more and cover more of the shared walls!

So I order two boxes of theses at separate times. They arrived on time and everything so that was great. The design looks nice and the back is fairly sticky and seems to be sticking to the wall well so far. I’m only giving it three stars because although I like the design it can be a little trouble some to cut it if you need to cut a straight line because of the groves in it. BUT the biggest problem is that the box of the panels definitely had a strong odor to them, as the other first box did not have any smell to them and that was even letting the box air out for a day. So that’s why I’m giving a three star rating as of now. Time will tell on the effectiveness of the product. Update to follow after I’ve used them for a bit.

Solid panels worth the extra cost over foam. These look better than the foam panels in my opinion and they’re a lot easier to installed with them being solid and having a simple peel and stick method vs foam I used spray glue which present a lot of problems. These even come with extra sticky pads in case they start to fall over time. If your walls are bare like mine you’ll need maybe 4 packs or more for a whole average size room. Once I get more coverage on my empty walls my surround sound should stop echoing and giving doubled audio during movies

I can’t speak to the soundproof aspect of these as we bought these to put under/around our dart board to help reduce holes in the wall. But it works perfectly for that - they are thick but soft and aesthetically the pattern looks awesome on the wall!
