I read all the reviews I could find on the COLOR of this “antique silver” cabinet before buying it. I would describe the color as METALLIC PALE OLIVE GREEN. This chameleon color changes with the light, sometimes looking taupe or tawny beige, other times looking light olive. The metallic sheen is subtle, not gaudy. In summary, it reads as a great neutral without being boring. It’s VERY pretty, without dominating the room.The instructions say it will take 10 minutes for 2 people to assemble. With 2 old ladies, we did it in about 40 minutes. It’s a solid piece, very sturdy. The entire front panel comes with doors pre-attached, making for easier assembly and doors that are well-aligned. That’s an excellent thing!I swapped out the cabinet door hardware for Hickory oval ring pulls—less florid and more classic.The cabinet arrived just 5 days after I placed the order, and the seller was very helpful in letting me know when to expect it to arrive.I do wish flat-packed furniture packaging created less waste for the landfill. I filled an entire garbage bin with it!

I use the cabinet as a TV stand and inside I have my stereo equipment which fits very nicely. The cabinet is made for this use ... it has a great open slot in the back to enable all the cords to pass through. The color is outstanding. I did have a bit of a problem putting it together; it wasn't difficult really except that one of the plastic pegs(?) would not go into the pre-drilled slot. I had to hacksaw it off so I could continue to put the cabinet together. I also had a problem with one of the cam locks ... it won't fully lock ... but the cabinet is sturdy and so I am able to overlook these things. This old(er) woman put the cabinet together without help in about 2 hours; the directions were clear and easy to understand. All in all, I love the cabinet. It makes a wonderful addition to my living room, and I do recommend it if you have the patience to solve minor problems with assembly.

This is a sturdy piece. A few dents in the exterior packaging but no issues with actual product. Easy to put together except some of the locks were very difficult to turn; however this probably adds to the sturdiness of the piece. My husband approves of the look, quality and ease of set up. Took both of us to hold pieces in position for assembly. Very pretty. Holds all of our dvds. Remotes work through glass so doors can stay closed. Color is off white, nearly beige. Over all, we really like it. Shopped around and Amazon had the best price. Other stores were $100 or more over the Amazon price.Update: Still love it. So pretty. A customer asked if the glass is removable from the does? Yes, I added a Pic of the plastic strips that holds the glass in.

This cabinet is perfect! I purchased a 72" cabinet just like it as an entry Cardenza and needed something smaller but similar for under my t.v. It matches beautifully. While there were some quirks to getting it right, this is likely the easiest cabinet assembly I have ever done. A friend and myself put it together in under an hr (would've been less if we hadn't pushed the sides too far in). It is incredibly sturdy for an owner assembly, and I would definitely purchase again. Came faster than I expected. Very happy with the cost, this was the lowest price I could find it offered online and it was worth every penny!! Thank you!!

I would give this cabinet 5 stars if it weren't for the assembly. First of all let me say that even though I'm a 63 year old woman, I'm not stupid when it comes to furniture. I have assembled book cases, file cabinets, computer desks, microwave carts, tv stands, etc. all by myself and had no major problems. This is a very lovely cabinet, has nice room in it but the assembly was total frustration!I ordered the smaller 2-door cabinet and it still took 2 people to put together! It came packed well, except for one minor nick on the front, but not worth returning over that. It says it will only take 10 minutes to assemble--NOT TRUE! The instructions contain NO WRITTEN guidelines or steps--only drawings. They do not use screws to assemble, but rather a plastic locking system (which I suppose would be to disassemble it if you ever move or needed to store the cabinet). The pieces fit together like a puzzle and then lock into place. Great concept, but it doesn't work correctly if they don't fit exactly perfectly, which a couple did not. There are a couple of them that I cannot even move into the locking position. The visual for the installing the shelf shows placing the brackets in a certain way. When I did that, the shelf would not fit. I wound up turning them upside down so I could get the shelf to fit into the cabinet so it isn’t locked into place tight. But since I don't plan to move it around much, it will be ok. One of the plastic strips on the inside of the glass door came off completely and I cannot tell if they are supposed to be removed or left on to hold in the glass. Again, no written instructions, so I'm left to wonder. With that said, the cabinet is beautiful, and it is sturdy even when 1 or 2 locks don't lock. It also had some "anti-tip" device that I couldn't even figure out--but it appears as though a piece was missing from that so I couldn't use it anyway. In all, it's a pretty cabinet but I'm really glad I didn't order the big one or I would have had to pay 2 people to come and put it together for me.

041224: this piece is very nice. It matches the description and photo.Its large box was well packed. Delivery didn’t require additional services.The assembly was tedious but not difficult. All in all, I am well pleased and definitely recommend it.

Nothing in particular wrong with the cabinet if you don't have specific need for accurate product depth. I needed an 18" depth for storage of a particular item inside the cabinet so was less than thrilled when I opened it up and measured and found its actually only 15". 3" is a really big deal! I like the color and style though so I'm keeping it for some other purpose.
