Perfect fit, worked as expected.

Fits perfect once you find the electric brake harness installed from the factory behind the left foot kick panel. A lot install this harness after removing factory trim. I personally did not. I only removed the one plastic nut holding the kick plate in place. Once removed I could flex kick plate enough to get my hands on the harness. When installing make sure you hear a nice click to know both male and female plugs are secure. I did not want to cut into my dash so I made a little bracket out of a 3” corner angle(see pics) works great and very clear of legs or feet. Makes for a very clean wire install as well. if anyone is wondering the 3” angle is mounted on an existing factory 10mm bolt tucked up above the kickplate. Was not easy to get the M6 nut started or tightened but once done I love it. I used the Tekonsha prodigy 2 brake controller with this harness.

I read several reviews in discussion forums about the right wiring adapter to use in a 2019 Tacoma (they no longer ship a pre-wired adapter with the towing package as they did a few years back) and was a bit worried about the additional ground wire connection that several forums say is essential for this installation, and that this adapter includes. This adapter with the additional ground wire, installed very easily. I was able to make a solid ground connection WITHOUT drilling holes, there was a handy existing bolt into the chassis close to the connector for the harness. I was able to get the install done with no drilling. Have used the controller on several short trips with a livestock trailer and all is working as it should.

Very easy to install in my 2019 Tacoma. Worked great for about 1 year but then it quit. Fortunately the manufacturer warranty was still valid and ther replaced it. The warranty service was a little slow and needed a couple phone calls to get it taken care of, but it’s all good now, so I’m happy with it.

I installed this on my truck for a controller I was installing, the adapter worked perfect, and it was easy to install on a 2015 Toyota Tundra

This was beyond simple. Used this for a Toyota Tundra 2015 install and it couldn't have been any easier. Popped open a panel to the right of the steering, connected to harness there that is ready to go, plugged it into the Tekonsha controller, replaced the panel, found a place to attach the ground, and screwed the controller just below the panel and I was ready to adjust with a trailer. Great harness, totally plug and play.
